When in Rome! We visited Big Dicks Halfway Inn and instantly loved the fun vibe. We went for the name but stayed for the Minnow Shot—definitely a must-try! We visited during the offseason and had a fantastic experience. The food was tasty, and the drinks were excellent. We enjoyed sitting at the inside bar, which has cozy indoor seating, as well as the outdoor tiki bar. The gift shop is full of fun, naughty souvenirs. With such a playful name, it’s hard not to have a good time here. Highly recommend for a fun, memorable visit!

The food is very tasty. Many people go for the famous minnow shots and the “interesting” merchandise in the gift shop, but we go because they have really good food and it’s close to us by water (we enjoy taking the boat to eat out). The restaurant is in a cove at the 46-47MM…hence the “Halfway Inn” part because the entire lake from dam to dam is 92 miles long. 🙂 When you go, try the pickle fries. They are delicious! My husband also really likes the fish tacos.

Long time favorite. I have been paying a visit year just yearly at best but I have always enjoyed it. Went with a group of 7 and everyone enjoye their food. They did a great job with their buffalo wings which I had this time. I also love the tenderloin sandwich.

We live here. It’s a Wednesday, not busy at all. Good service. Sitting outside with our Furrbabies.. great view. Patio is nice & relaxing with all the fans blowing on us. No Gas. Docks need an update. All in all. Great place. Signed, “The Expert Minnow Shooter”

Fun spot to pull up to and have a drink or a fish. We came here on to start the day and it was a good choice. The staff was funny and engaging as were the other customers. We got some bites to share while we were there and they were all good. I enjoyed the Garlic Bread and the Meatballs the most.
And of course while we were there we had to shoot the minnow………you just have to go experience it.
