I want to thank Max and the wonderful staff at the Lisbon Cafe in Jericho for a spectacular party in honor of my dad’s 70th birthday. This place came highly recommended by my colleague who has hosted several of her parties here. I reserved a private room which was elegant and classy, and was given the option to arrive hours ahead of time to set up and decorate. The pricing was extremely affordable and the food was outright delicious and abundant. All my guests were blown away by the amount of food that was served!! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and they played the music of my choice in the overhead speakers, and even allowed a mariachi band to come and sing for my dad! Needless to say, I am extremely satisfied with how my party turned out and I will definitely be hosting future events here!! Thank you so much Lisbon Cafe for such a memorable birthday celebration.

Tackie my Greek friend just had a birthday. We were there at 3 pm smack dab between servings. I love the look of the restaurant inside. It was very quiet since we were the only ones there. My friend Joe frequents their other location so we traveled to check them out and have a nice meal. We had several waiters but our main one was a fine Asian young man who just graduated from High School. He did a really good job and made our stay very pleasant. The first person to make our drinks was new and made a few mistakes which were quickly fixed. The Ice tea was fresh and very tasty. We enjoy the muscles and Clams and sausage. They came in an amazing sauce. The bread as good as it was, paired very well with the juices from our two appetizers. I got the seafood over rice, they got pork chops and eggplant Lasagna. Both looked good. We had a good time.
It was interesting that we felt that our meal was trimmed slightly. There was no salad served with the meal and the Creme Brulee was oddly thin. I think the restaurant industry is really struggling. Hopefully good places will be around for a long time.
The bathrooms were very clean. This is worth on Solid Star.
Thanks staff and manager…

Love the grilled octopus and escargot! Very warm atmosphere, generous portions and reasonably priced. They have specials for $25-40 few courses meals. Music is not loud so perfect for a nice dinner. A lot of seafood to choose from.

After striking out twice at 2 other spots in the neighborhood for dinner tonight, Yelp turned me onto this spot. So I called Lisbon Cafe and the lovely woman who answered the phone said, “yes, come now for a table of 4” so thankfully we were just up the block from them and she remembered my voice on the phone and promptly sat us at a cozy corner spot, socially distanced of course. The ambience has an interesting modern medieval feel to it but very warm and welcoming. The staff was so nice and just so accommodating even with a full house of hungry diners, again all socially distanced.
Food was not what I remembered from my visit to Portugal. I actually didn’t enjoy the food while in Portugal, but surprisingly that was so not the case here! Everything was seriously delicious. Started the night with a warm basket of bread, house made chips and some marinated olives. Our appetizers of grilled octopus and the cod fritter balls were perfectly seasoned, tender and just out of this world. We ordered the Portuguese steak special, the seafood feijoada, the veal chop and the rabbit stew. All were perfectly presented, portion vs. price was on point and everything was again phenomenal. We didn’t really have room for dessert but we ordered it anyway and loved them too! Creme brulee, flan, carrot cake and cream of heaven are worth every bite and will for sure be ordered again!
What was an almost fail to eat out before the next snow storm, a completely impromptu dining choice, turned out to be one of the best and we’ll be back again and again!

Great atmosphere in the restaurant and all the staff are friendly and accommodating. The time we went (12-1:30PM) was pretty empty for a Saturday during lunch hours, so we were very lucky to have the staff dedicate their attention to us. The food itself was great, reasonable prices for large portions. The paella itself was enough to feed two people, so leftovers were taken home. Overall, this was a great first experience at the Lisbon Cafe!

We always wanted to try Portuguese food but there is none close to where we live. After did some research, we found this restaurant and decided to give it a try when we needed to run some errands at Long Island. Well, it’s definitely a good decision. Food is absolutely delicious with generous portion. Service is excellent too, the owner and his staff are so friendly, he even offered us some sweet wine to taste. We can’t wait to go back to try other dishes!

Lisbon cafe! A taste of Portugal in the neighborhood. Lunch sets cost only $40 . We all got huge portion of my entree, and a humongous slice of cheese cake or flan . If lemon sorbet is your thing , they will serve your the ice inside a real lemon cup . Cute and delicious .
Oh, restaurant served appetizing olives and bread , Free!! and they are good stuff , especially the olives

Great service good food. The grilled calamari was awesome, as as the olive plate and cappuccino.
The seafood paella is worth the wait.
The kids approved the chocolate lava cake as very good.

Sunday lunch hours were pretty great without too many guests. We had full attention from the friendly staff. The food was great, very tasty from appetizers to entrees and deserts. Price/value very decent and the location is great, just right off 495. Great restaurant for family and group gatherings!

Staff was amazing! There were probably 5 people that came and checked on us and brought us drinks and food. Bartender was funny and super nice! The food was outstanding! I can’t say enough about this place! I also recommend the tiramisu.
