The food was VERY delicious and well prepared. It was very busy but it was not a long wait for our food at all. Our server was so lovely and kind. She had an amazing attitude and humor and never missed an opportunity to make us laugh. Her as well as her coworkers were all very attentive. Making the atmosphere overall happy and full of warmth.

The food was amazing. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was just a little loud. Dishes being banged together and a kid sitting on the most squeaky stool kept going back and forth squeezing it. That’s why only 4 stars for atmosphere. The rest was great.

I live downtown in Bolton Hill and have been coming for years. My parents now in their 80’s drive to my house from Reisterstown and I drive them to the diner. They love the food. Today , they drove down with my father’s 2 sisters because they have never been and they wanted to try it. So I had a car full of my older relatives. They absolutely loved it. The staff and owner are always so friendly and the food is delicious and comes out piping hot. Never ever had a bad meal here. Worth the wait for a table.

Awesome spot in Baltimore! I got the Gimmick Burger, which has egg and bacon on it; it was delicious. Also, the Home Fries were the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of home fries). My server Lisa had a warm and kind demeanor. Clean plate club for lunch today

Wow, just wow. With the diners and the take out orders, this place is hopping. We were seated quickly and the food came out fast. My wife enjoyed the bagel and lox so much I swear she was licking the plate.. Our little one really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes. I couldn’t pass up a crab cake even though it was breakfast time. My expectations were greatly exceeded.

I was quite impressed with this diner. I love pancakes but have stopped ordering them when I go out because they taste like they’re made from a mix instead of scratch. My husband encouraged me to try the pancakes here and I’m glad I did because they were delicious. I also ordered a side of bacon and it was done exactly how I like it so I was quite impressed dining here. The service was excellent. We sat at the counter and the waitresses chatted with us and ensured our coffee was topped up. I’d definitely return

I have been here a few times. Everytime the food is cooked amazingly well. I usually get a made-to-order omelette and it was exactly what I was looking forward to each time. I would go to the Southside Diner for breakfast everyday if I could. I will need to try them for lunch someday soon.

Service was fast food was delicious love this place for breakfast. Wife got spinach pie and I got the breakfast Pipeline with over easy eggs atop a mix of hash browns sausage cheese bacon.
Next I got chipped beef gravy breakfast with scrapple. The scrapple was excellent. Good place to try it if you’ve never had it. I did not like the chipped beef gravy, it was home cut lunch meats I think and the gravy was just okay.
Like a diner they have butter at the table which is good so that it’s soft when you need it. Recommend you put the eggs right on top.
