We live in Missouri and got married in Iowa. Our caterer recommended LaRose Marie Bakery and we are so grateful that they did!!! We had raspberry white chocolate cheesecake, peanut butter cup cheesecake, snicker brownies, almond raspberry cupcakes and a cookie pizza!!! We will never forget how amazing these desserts were. We may be taking a trip to Sully Iowa for our Anniversary every year!

This is our favorite bakery ever! We order all of our birthday cakes, treats, and anything we need for family events. Everything is delicious! The store is gorgeous and such a fun place to pop in for a treat. Be sure to try the smoothies too, so good! And Christmas morning was extra special with the homemade cinnamon rolls.

I’ve stopped in La Rose Marie a few times, and the service is always great, and food and coffee are always delicious. We used them for our wedding and we were so impressed with the service we received. Our cake was beautiful, and we added on sheet cakes for guests; we got so many compliments from guests on the cakes. We were so impressed with how easy they were to work with; I’d highly recommend working with Julie and Karli for any events needing desserts catered!

La Rose Marie Bakery is a beautiful, home town feel bakery. Their food is delicious! Wonderful choices! Their boutique items are reasonably priced and so pretty! I have purchased many gifts there! My only “problem” is I can’t leave Sully without getting my husband some pastries! He expects them. LOL. I highly recommend you take a drive to Sully and check out La Rose Marie Bakery!

First of the atmosphere is so adorable. You walk in and it takes you back. The old fashion design of it really warms your heart. The variety of baked goods is really good. The presentation of all her products were adorable. The pecan rolls crumble in your mouth, the almond cake balls are out of this world as well as the butter crunch with pecans…amazing! Prices were totally fair. Absolutely loved everything about our visit.

She also did an outstanding job creating a wonderful cake and several varieties of cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding in Grinnell. Our guests raved about the fantastic cupcakes all night!
