This tiny little resturant brings a lot of huge flavors to the table. I had the goat curry and vegetable pakoras. We shared a side of nan. They asked me what level of spice and I said little spice. Knowing now what I know for my poor stomach i should have gone with no spice. The food was amazing I just paid for it a little later. The pakoras were absolutely fantastic and the Nan dipped in the curry sauce was perfection. A must try little spot!

The flavors are authentic! We had been craving good kadi pakoda for a long time, and finally found it here. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends. I even came all the way from Bancroft (a 90-minute drive), and it was worth it!

*** I feel I have to update this review… Everything above is true, the food is great. But the last time I was there the food was served in a biodegradable food container, whereas before it was always in a microwave safe container. Hot or damp food should never be placed in biodegradable containers as they contain harmful chemicals that degrade and seep into the food. I didn’t realize this at first. I put the leftovers in the fridge and the next day could taste the plastic. I have changed 5 stars to 3 for now and I hope this doesn’t happen again, but for now I will not be returning unless this changes.

The dining room is a little small so best to order to go, but that’s literally the only downside to this place. The food is phenomenal, and the staff is too. It’s also really good value, lunch plus 18% tip for under $15 and I’m always stuffed. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it!

Everyone I spoke to was fabulous! so kind and friendly! It shows how invested they are, in all aspects. They answered my many questions and gave me delicious recommendations. The only thing better was the food! Everything was prepared with love to complete perfection! We had compliments from everyone all day on the magnificent choice!

Food quality is abysmal, ordered takeout and threw most of it out. Vegetable korma was made with a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, chicken curry had a watery gravy with maybe 4 pieces of chicken in a serving and the aloo gobi was also made from frozen vegetables and had no flavor.
I frequently eat Indian food so I am aware of what popular dishes should taste like. India curry house should be ashamed to serve this garbage to customers.

Very disappointing experience.
The biryani was nothing like biryani—it felt like plain rice mixed with curry and random bell peppers. No aroma, no depth of flavor, just a confused dish. The chicken vindaloo was equally underwhelming and didn’t even include potatoes, which is kind of the bare minimum for a proper vindaloo. On top of the bad food, the staff attitude made the experience worse—unhelpful and unfriendly. Definitely not worth the money or the visit.

I was quite disappointed with the meal I ordered today, especially considering it was meant for a dinner gathering with friends. Unfortunately, none of us enjoyed the food.
