I’m writing to you today to share my experience at a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious, and the drinks were great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The indoor atmosphere was inviting, and the service was impeccable.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. You order and pay for your food at the counter, then take a seat. Free parking is available, and the owners are always friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant dining experience.
The broth here is a little different with some ginger, which I love, but will also take some getting to use to it as it’s not super traditional pho broth.
We ordered chicken vermicelli noodles and the chicken banh mi. The shredded chicken for both items were incredibly dry. I regretted not trying the pork– maybe it wouldn’t be as dry. Couldn’t eat the meat. The sauce for the noodles was a little spicy and good. The veggies were great too. There wasn’t as much of the pickled carrots in both items. Maybe I’ll give this place another try in the future.
The service and atmosphere were great!
Restaurant is nice, very cool ambiance, nice decorations, well organized. They offer inside seating as well as patio seating. Clean restaurant.
The have beers to chose from, as well as some delicious dessert options (well… they looked delicious lol, did not get to try them.)
The reason why I am only giving them a 3 star review, it is because of the wait time. We sat on a semi-wet table, was not fully dry when they took us there. Then we waited almost 45 minutes before the first plate was brought to our table, and about 3 minutes in between plates. It was only 5 of us. Not a huge party.
Before we left, 2 different waiters came to our table to apologize for the slow service. One said it was because they were under staffed, the other one said it was because the rush caught them by surprise!! So I am assuming it was probably a combination of both!
The food on the other hand was very good. I would not really consider this restaurant to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in Orange County at the moment, maybe back in 2020 when It was nominated, but not now.
But yes, the food was good, very good quantity for the price tag. My Oxtail Fried rice was $18.95 My wide Vermicelli Chicken Bowl was $17.95
I am not sure if I’ll come back. Who knows!
