What a pleasant surprise this place is! Sophisticated without being pretentious, quite possibly the most comfortable seating outside of my own living room, and wonderful food. Everything here is farm-to-table fresh, the chef’s know what they are doing, and the bartenders know their trade. Our waitress Gracie was amazing. I’ve been on military ops with a less thorough brief than she gave! She really understands the menu, and though we have no food allergy issues, she was exceptionally well versed on how to enjoy the menu around those issues. Gracie is a standout in a hospitality industry that increasingly seems indifferent. Plenty of parking, great handicap access, indoor and outdoor dining areas with fireplaces and exceptionally clean throughout.

My husband and I went here for lunch for the first time and we sat in the bar area and it wasnt busy. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. Then we waited another 15 minutes to get our soda. Then we placed our order for an appetizer and burgers. It took 25 minutes to get our appetizer of Brussel sprouts which were good. Then we waited almost 50 minutes to get our food! The fries were ice cold but the burger was hot. I waited another 10 minutes to get the servers attention and she said she would get us new ones. We were finished eating and still no fries or refills. I waited another 15 minutes to get her attention and tell her to forget the fries I just wanted the check. Again we waited another 15 minutes and finally got our check! We were there over 2 hours for a burger and a soda! The food was good but not worth the time it took to get it!

Last evening an old friend and I visited The Lodge in Pasadena for the first time. Beautiful first impression! We sat at the bar and Olivia our bartender was a wealth of information; everything from the history of the building to information on its sister stores in Annapolis and Gambrills.
We both ordered the house Cab and it must’ve been good because we had a couple each. My partner chose Crab Dip (served with naan chips) for starters and we nearly licked the bowl. We were hungry!
For dinner we jumped on the braised beef short ribs with colorful roasted vegetables along with butter whipped potatoes and fried onions atop. Everything you could want! The other entree was a special for the evening; surf & turf with lobster tail and accompanying filet served with scalloped potatoes and steamed seasonal asparagus. The servings were hearty and a doggy bag came home because who wants to waste that feast! Lovely presentation and atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable service will keep people coming back. Nice touch with Richard the Bar Manager checking in to see how things were going. Excellent, Richard, excellent

Enjoyed the lodge feel. Waitress was very accommodating. We’re a little picky so gave the food a 4. Overall good experience would recommend trying.

I though it was gona be a more fancy place but it was more casual. We dressed up but we saw people show up in te shirts and shorts so we felt over dressed. Could of been our fault.
Drinks great. Salmon on the small size. Front desk was amazing. Our server was great.

Our Sunday brunch experience was delightful and 100% worth the money. It was my first time here and we came as a group of 6. Our reservation process was easy, the seating was ample, the environment was beautiful. I’m happy to say that we got far more value than what we paid. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the portions were appropriate. The staff was awesome. Our waitress, Heaven, was a complete gem. She was fun, engaging, full of life, and a legitimate reason to come back! the spread was great too! So many places focus on breakfast items when it comes to brunch but the lodge handles lunch and breakfast so very well. The raw bar was amazing the mimosas were awesome! We heard that the dinner menu is great and we cannot wait to come back! I will recommend this place to anyone and happily bring family here. Absolutely amazing.

I’m glad I got a reservation they were packed. It’s great what they did inside. It looks incredible. The menu was great to see, not your standard Pasadena Fare. We ordered the MD Crab and fried lobster appetizers, not a huge fan of the lobster, and there was not much taste. On the other hand, I got the braised lamb……. incredible seriously, great. My wife got the Crab Cakes, I am assuming they were broiled with a bread crust? It did not seem to have much flavor. Overall, for the cost, I was not impressed overall, but I will be back.

Every thing was super yummy! Had the Chesapeake Pasta & Snake Bite Pasta. Both were excellent. I loved the rolls with the chive butter. Amanda was an excellent server and on the ball and even answered all my crazy questions! My only slight complaint would be the fried lobster tail was a tad chewy. We will be back!

It was our first time at The Lodge and definitely won’t be our last. We walked in and were greeted by Richard. He gave us a tour of the place. It’s beautiful inside and out! We went to the back patio where we chose to sit at a table with a fire, and it was perfect. Our server Colleen greeted us and gave us water when we sat down. She explained what the popular dishes are and told us about their specials. We started with the crab dip, which was incredible. We got the Chesapeake Pasta and Braised Short Rib and both were absolutely delicious. We each had dessert – peanut butter pie and the flourless chocolate torte and they were fantastic. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a lovely evening!
