As I entered this restaurant, I met the amazing kitchen staff and was able to connect with them speaking Spanish, which, gave me reassurance that the food would be of high quality. The servers and restaurant manager were very welcoming and friendly. The salsas and chips were a perfect start. The horchata was sweet and tasty. But the main enjoyment was the carne asada plate. The description does not do justice to how amazing this dish is. The flavors were all great. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will make sure to stop by again if possible. If you are in town, this place will not let you down!

Good thing I arrived just after they open because it didn’t take long for them to get busy. But my waitress, Becky, handled the influx of customers like a pro. She’s very polite and very efficient. I opted for the chorizo and scrambled eggs along with refried beans and rice. the beans and rice were pretty good. However, the scrambled eggs were over cooked. But I put salsa on it. Made it work. Speaking of the salsa it was delicious. Chunky and Spicey just the Way salsa should be. This is a very popular restaurant for not only those that stay at the RV park but for the locals. Next time I’m in Gold Beach I’m definitely be back.

Cute place. Friendly service. Awesome location especially when you’re staying at Turtle Rock RV Resort. Ordered a chicken chimichunga and a crunchy taco for takeout. They were both decent. I had a Cadillac Margarita while I waited for the food. It was a good one.

So I read from other reviews that the service want the best, and I definitely noticed that. The restaurant was full so the waitress said she would give us a call when a table opened up, so we waited in the car. Then I saw a couple tables with no one sitting at them outside, so we went back in and they got us seated, however we had been waiting a good 20 minutes and they never called us. But the food was absolutely fantastic and you got unlimited chips and salsa. If it wasn’t for the poor service I would have given this place 5 stars because the food was so amazing.

Shout out to the rockstars running the show, there were literally 3 people to host, clean, take orders, make drinks, and put up with the rude inconsiderate tourist.
Place was packed, food and drinks are good, customer service is friendly.
Takes one brain cell to figure out 3 people running the show and over 20 guests, it’s going to take a little while to get your food but this did not stop inconsiderate fools from harassing the wait staff.

Our vacation rental was located next door to Tortuga and we pulled in about an hour before closing. They were friendly and accommodating. We ordered several margaritas and food dishes. The service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty and flavorful. It was a bit “Americanized” to see peas, carrots and corn in the rice, but it tasted good. Unfortunately they are closed Monday and Tuesday so we didn’t get another chance to try anything else but we would probably order again, given the opportunity. Maybe next trip

This place has an amazing ambiance and seating area. They’ve a lovely staff and the vibe here is super fun! We went there for lunch but I am sure dinner time will be even better as they’ve a great place to sit very close to the coast. The food is amazing as well and has options for vegetarians too

Onsite at the RV park we are staying at… Turtle Rock. We went for happy hour… Half price Margaritas $4. We all had on the rocks and they were very good! Some had three rounds Some of our group ordered appetizers too.
Walking distance from camp area. Pet friendly outdoor seating. Inside seating too. They have a golf cart to take you to your rig if needed. Also used for delivering food to sites.
