Wow! I’ve seen their ads on Instagram and knew I had to try this place when I had the opportunity. I went to the one in Sewickley PA. Beautiful little town! But, be sure to follow your GPS directions to the letter. Because this “Gem” is tucked in behind a couple of places. Great atmosphere. Very cool decor. Nice bar & dining room. For the food, I had a dinner salad with cheese & homemade Italian dressing. Fried pierogi’s with a side of sour cream. Then I completed the trifecta with the Luca Brasi pizza. This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had! Plum tomato sauce, mozzarella & provolone cheeses, sweet sausage and a 3 pepper marinated blend. AMAZING!!!! The 3 pepper blend has just the slightest kiss of heat. ❤️ Run! Don’t walk to Caliente Pizza & Draft House! You need this in your life. I can’t wait to go back. I can’t forget, Charles my server, the ultimate professional. Very friendly and quick service. Thanks Caliente Pizza & Draft House. See Yinz soon!

I love when you go into a restaurant at noon it is not busy and the employee sits at a table and ignores you for 10 minutes. The Pizza $40 MeeMaw was room temp somehow. It was tasty but seemed like maybe it was reheat or something.

I was making a delivery in the area and looking for a quick lunch—not fast food—and spotted this pizza shop open. I decided to give it a try and was a little worried at first that it might take too long, since I was on the clock. I asked if the food would be quick, and the girl at the counter assured me it wouldn’t take long, so I went for it.
Glad I did! The food came out fast, and everything I tried was great. I ordered a pepperoni pizza that had three kinds of pepperoni—crispy edges, great cheese, and a solid crunch on the bottom. Easily one of the better pizzas I’ve had in a while. I also grabbed a couple appetizers, and they didn’t disappoint either.
Friendly service, cool atmosphere, and perfect for a quick work lunch. Definitely a spot I’ll stop at again when I’m in the area.

We ordered takeout and were heavily disappointed. Our pizza looked over cooked at first but we decided that maybe we took too long to pick it up. One bite in we quickly found that it was warm but the bacon on the pizza was raw. In fact didn’t even look like it had attempted to be cooked. We ended up throwing the whole pizza away. My husband and I dined into the restaurant a few months ago and had a totally different experience and loved the pizza. The take out has a separate entrance so I don’t know if it operates out of a separate kitchen. Hopefully they were having an off night but I would definitely not recommend carry out!

I love me some pizza, but I felt that with all the accolades this pizza should be great. We bought two pies and the extra large was pretty small for almost 60 bucks. The cheeses was over cooked on the pepperoni pie. I will try again

I ordered the pizza through Uber eats. Got a small pep and a calzone. Took awhile for Uber to bring the food as is expected. But still food got here warm. I was starving when I got the food so it was amazing when I started eating it. The thing about food is how does it taste when your not hungry. We’ll I left 2 slices and half the calzone well I actually threw it away because after I wasn’t starving anymore I slowed down to actually taste the food. The pizza was bland like no flavor. Like I know it’s pizza so before my mind was making the flavor in my mouth match the way it looked and it looked amazing. But after my mind quite lying to me the real taste wasn’t there. The calzone had raw pepperoni in it I thought it was salami at first but I just ordered a pep calzone so there was no way it was salami because it didn’t taste like salami. Just over all bad experience food wise. I try to stay away from places that sell food and beer because drinkers are the worst food critics everything taste great to them after a couple of beers. So unfortunately I won’t be trying this place again.

This chain has great decor and vibe and some specialty pizzas that you won’t find anywhere else. But having said that if you are just looking for a basic pizza they are definitely a bit overpriced.

We love stopping at Calientes for a drink and some take out after work. Josh the bartender is so friendly, always remembers my fiancee and I and what beers we like to order. We are never impressed with the food unfortunately, but will keep going back because of the great service!

This time I stopped with the family at the Sewickley location, it was amazing!! We tried the Leonardo (picture below) and the Cool Ranch Doritos pizza., both were awesome choices! This time we had all the kids with us (7) and I must say the kids meals are as tasty as anything else on their menu, also very large portion sizes for the prices! Devon was our waiter, service was exceptional!

The pizzas we got were really good and well made. We got 1 with pepperoni and a bacon chicken ranch pizza. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seems to be a bit more expensive than other pizza places. Especially the specialty pizzas. Their parking lot is extremely cramped, if you can find a spot at all, and we arrived around 7:45. I would order from here again but I’d stick to the regular pizzas and toppings.
