Been here several times, the food is always good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There are many Ecuadorian restaurant options in Spring Valley. This one is amongst my favorites.

If I could give a zero star I will. Today I came to eat with my family and the services was horrible. Never have I been to a Ecuadorian place that was this bad. The shakes tasted horrible. We told the server if she can remake it and she just ignored it and decided to never come back. The plate that we got serve were broken which is so unprofessional and unhealthy. I would not recommend coming here.

honestly never been so upset before. I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times I was satisfied but the last few times I have ordered it’s been unacceptable. The food they serve now just shocks me . I order sausage with fries and all I got was four pieces . FOUR not even the full sausage just four small pieces! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE I PAY 11$ FOR FOUR PIECES.

Sabor Costeno is a restaurant whose delicious aromas can often entice neighbors during the warm summer months. I stopped by for the first time at the top of the year and my only regret is not having visited sooner. The restaurant is decorated with vibrant colors, artwork, and festive ornaments that create a timeless atmosphere. It feels like a Rockland County staple. The festive music elevates the mood without overwhelming the senses. Together, the design and atmosphere offer a relaxing dining experience that feels like being invited to a friend’s home.
I kept things simple with my order and selected the number 1 specialty dish on the menu. This included white rice, lentils, plantain, chorizo (sausage), pork, and some steak as well. I also enjoyed a blackberry mora smoothie with milk. The smoothie is delicious but the meal is a delight. I enjoyed it so much I had a tough time putting my fork down!
Sabor Costeno offers a family friendly gourmet dining experience that I’d highly recommend.

When I want to go outside or I’m working and need to eat I always try to come here if there is no food at home. This place is amazing.
The food is just delicious, for all the plates I ate here never had this “okay” food it is always tasty and yummy. And the price is another plus, 10$ for a lunch meal, 1 entrance (mostlikely soup) 2nd (usually rice with either chicken or pork) and a cup of drink. (Not soda).
And even when buying other than “special lunch” it is quite heavenly.
Conclusion, it is a great place, amazing good, great service. Now, the only bad thing is the parking, if u eating in the morning I guess there is parking at papays since it is pretty close, but in the afternoon, quite dificult, since it is not recommended to park on popeyes.

No lo puedo recomendar el ambiente es muy tenso las meseras siempre de mal humor cambiamos un arroz que estaba completamente crudo y en vez de al menos disculparse luego casi nos avientan la comida con otro arroz que estaba igual muy mala experiencia
