We moved to Hollywood Beach a year ago and finally decided to give Fisherman’s Sushi a try. The set up is a little strange, it’s like an abandoned food court that has just them operating out of it, in a small space. However, the dining area was an open with seats for full service. For me this is a pick up and go spot and not made for dining in. With that said the sushi was good and the service was fast. We had the caterpillar roll and the Fisherman’s roll and a beef teriyaki box. The flavors were good and it did taste fresh. The price point was also fair. So for me this is a great spot to pick up from or have delivered.

The food was fantastic! My dad was craving sashimi and we ate until our hearts were content (maybe a little more ). The service was great and the views of the harbor we’re nice too. There is limited outdoor seating so try to get there early. We will definitely be going again!

We love this little wonder. They have the BEST spicy tuna hand rolls. We travel across town just to satisfy our cravings. They make great sushi.
If you’re looking for a place with ambiance this is not the place. The food court could use new tables, chairs and flooring. We usually get our food to go and take it to the park.
Udate: the food is still delicious. All the other restaurants in the food court are closed up, but this place is still going strong.

Hidden gem!! It’s tucked inside an abandoned food court. All the other stores within the food court are closed. It’s the last one standing from the aftermath of the pandemic. Grabbed some quick sushi to take back to the hotel.
The sushi is surprisingly very good and fresh! Sashimi is buttery and silky. Price is very reasonable, and portions are just right. Sushi rolls and sashimi were delightful!

Pretty good sushi.
A little kiosk in a large food court that is mostly abandoned, with just 1 other shop, which gives this place a weird feel. Not what we were expecting.
But I really liked the vegi roll.

We came here because the bbq place we were recommended was closed. At first I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. But oh my. For $13 the lunch special is on the best deals ever. The food was being made right in front of you and the workers were so nice. The food was good and eating outside by the marina was so delightful. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for cheap, good, fast food. I don’t give out 5 stars a lot of this place was awesome!

We originally wanted to get sashimi and hot spicy fish soup at Fisherman’s House, but we were told that the wait was over an hour. So, we decided to get fish and chips and grilled halibut there instead. Let’s just say that the former didn’t taste too bad, but the latter was way too salty.
Next to Fisherman’s House is Fisherman’s Sushi. It appeared to me as if the owners were different. Anyhow, we ordered sashimi and sushi here. The workers seemed friendly, but it took over half an hour to get our food. We were disappointed that it took so long for our food to be prepared and that the food tasted so mediocre—the sashimi didn’t taste too fresh and the rolls were just okay.

Hidden seafood gem in Oxnard! Fresh fish and great service. Pavilion has plenty of seating.
Royal boat is good choice. It comes with two miso soups.

Local, cozy, sushi joint
Attentive service
Beautiful rolls
Awesome location ⛱️
You can get some finely crafted sushi rolls and eat them out on the harbor. Or eat at the traditional styled sushi bar in the mini food court. The one downside I’d have to bring up is that the ramen was poor. The sushi however, was above average. Overall the atmosphere is what would bring me back.
