Went for brunch on a Saturday. We had a reservation, so there was no wait, but it was not crowded. Very cool vibe and decor. Started with the burrata appetizer which was quite delicious. It was served with crusty bread and the spicy vodka sauce made the dish. Followed with avocado toast flight. Great concept but lacking in execution. It was good, but was a. It one note. Cocktails were tasty. Service was spotty considering the place wasn’t busy.

Delicious food, great service, love the festive holiday decor. Portions were on the smaller side but it was delicious nonetheless. This restaurant & bar is located in the Graduate Hotel

Very nice place for a glass and some bites. A little noisy, but very nice ambiance. We were seated very quickly, but food arrived after a very, very long time and we were only offered regular apologies… The frisée salad was more an arugula salad. You pay for the place, not for creative and tasty plates. We were afraid to wait another 25+min for desserts and left there.

Came here for a chill brunch with a friend for my birthday & the atmosphere/scene was very cute that we both enjoyed. The (alcohol) drinks were kind of average but the brunch menu/food itself was pretty good. The servers were absolute sweethearts — but you could tell they definitely could use some help (maybe just on busier days). They still were wonderful though & much credit to them. It’s a cafe sized place as far as seating goes, but still very spacious with a very nice looking bar. It’s located in lobby of a hotel where the other half of the space sells coffee & had a bunch of seating which was occupied by a lot of students studying/hanging out — this to me just added to the charm & made it a very nice atmosphere. Again, the scene itself was gorgeous. I definitely would recommend it to try out at least once and I will most likely return myself.

I sneak away during lunch, and high tail it to Ye Tavern when I’m in the area. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible, the food, questionable. I’ve had lunch there three times at the bar, and the food was just OK. But what was amazing was the service.
WIL, the bartender Is amazing. He gets five stars! His service was excellent, he offered me a selection of wines to choose from, and he made my recent lunch, extremely pleasurable. I highly recommend visiting The Graduate Hotel, and Ye Tavern for a respite from the day

As we were walking around Princeton on a Wednesday afternoon, we ran into someone who told us about The Graduate hotel, and to try the restaurant at the hotel. Since we hadn’t planned on where to go for lunch, we gave it a try, and we were glad we did.
When you walk in, your greeted by the hotel Café bar. To the right is the café lounge, which looks like a 19th century library. To the left, is the tavern, which definitely draws inspiration from an 18th century or 19th century English Tavern, and yet also seems to draw inspiration from an upscale early 20th century French brasserie. We sat at a two top next to the windows. Though the table is a rather small café table (fits 1 dish/person, a side dish, and one glass/person [had to put the water carafe on the floor]) the chairs are large, comfortable, wingback chairs, which looking incredibly inviting.
I decided to try the lobster roll, and vegan chili. I must say, the lobster roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was full of lobster! A satisfying lunch choice with homemade potato chips, and a side of clarified butter to pour over the lobster roll, which is absolute decadence, but incredibly tasty!
The vegan chili was the spicy, satisfying chili that I was hoping for. You would never know it was completely vegan. It really seemed like a beef chili. I thoroughly enjoyed it! As someone who is a vegetarian/pescatarian, I’m always happy to find vegan options. However, for the lunch menu, I think that was the only vegan option.
My friend ordered the fish and chips, and couldn’t stop praising it. He felt it was some of the best he had ever had.
The service was very friendly. Our server was very personable; she made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
There is a beautiful looking bar that is part of the restaurant. I would definitely be interested in going back for dinner at some point, and giving the bar a try.

Ordered breakfast to the fairly inexperienced and nonchalant staff – though they weren’t the problem. The food is deeply mediocre. Poached eggs that couldn’t hold their shape, flavorless supermarket bacon and their Pork roll sandwich is worse than any local diner or bagel store. So disappointing because the room is so beautiful. Please improve the food (like “now under new management”) and we’ll happily try it again.

Went to Ye Tavern tonight for my husband’s bday. Food was great, drinks were perfect! Live music was a nice touch to an already memorable evening. The staff was exceptional – Amanda, Ben and TJ, thank you again!

One of the only *real* cocktail bars in the greater Princeton area. The back bar is stocked with your typical liquors as well as more illustrious bottles of chartreuses and amaros. Great spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a more “dark academia” vibe, very fitting for Princeton. They have a shared space with a coffee bar and large lounge/reading area. The cocktail menu is themed and rotating. For example when we visited it was Light Side vs Dark Side so all the cocktail names elicited thoughts of Star Wars and other intergalactic adventures! The cocktails that we tried were great— and our bartender even pointed out which ones he created himself which was really cool. Can’t wait to stop by again!
