In a previous life, this was a Whataburger. It’s been converted to a Mexican restaurant, and the results are pretty good. The food is tasty, and the service was great. I tried the Picadillo enchiladas with red sauce. I’m definitely coming back to try everything else! Homemade chips and salsa!

This is the newest Mexican restaurant in town. It’s very colorful and it’s easy to park at. The staff are nice. I’ve only had the potato chorizo egg burrito. It was pretty good but the potatoes need to be cooked and seasoned more. Will try again before I make a final decision.

Have gone several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will continue to go! Prices are fair. They will make anything on the menu any time of day. The biggest breakfast burritos in town, normally I order 2 from anywhere else but not here! They have a variety of salsas all you have to do is ask. The menu is adjustable and they will make something even off menu if they can! I regularly see the fire department there so I can’t be the only one that thinks it’s good! I will say, the sauces and spices are more authentic Mexican rather than texmex, so the flavors are a little different but awesome. I recommend the breakfast burritos or enchiladas

First off everything tastes off like not in a bad way but just off. I got the chicken fajitas and the chicken was dry and they only served me 1 tortilla! It was supposed to be a flour tortilla but it didn’t look like one. Also, it was so cold inside that I shivered the whole time even though I had a jacket on. The queso was gross, the salsa they served with the chips was gross, and the chips were over cooked. I also got food poisoning from this experience. I don’t recommend this place to anyone! Awful place to eat.

I’ve been here a few times and oh boy do they feed you. The portions are big here. This is not the place for you if you’re trying to lose weight. I got 2 burritos of brabecoa and they were freaking fat. I could only eat 1. Another time I got the menudo and while it is a bit on the spicy side. The flavor is very good. I got a large and it came in a huge bowl and actually had a lot of meat and hominy in it. The service is ok the waitress didn’t really check up on me much. For me that’s fine because I don’t like being bothered while I’m eating. Others might not like that as much. I will definitely eat here again.

Wonderful experience! The food here is authentic Mexican food, it reminds me of when I would grow up in Veracruz, unlike other restaurants that say they make their food freshly yet it’s done in 5 minutes, HERE they make it fresh, they put their time and work into every dish. The food here is unlike no other Mexican restaurants in sweetwater and in Abilene, this is REAL Mexican food made by real Mexican crew! Definitely my new favorite restaurant, will be coming back!

First time to experience enchiladas that were folded over like tacos and did not have any melted shredded cheese on them but had a good flavor. The best Quac I have had ever. The rest of the food was good.

The food was ok the chips were a little burnt. I had street tacos asada and beans with rice .The beans were good but the rice was mushy . The tacos were ok the meat had little seasoning . And the salsa wasn’t spicy. The guacamole was good just needs salt the drink were 2 dollars in a can so the food wasn’t what I expected . It just wasn’t good I wouldn’t go there again.

I can’t say how the food was because the service was so bad we ended up walking out. We were ignored from the time we walked in until we walked out 15 minutes later. I would have understood if we were told they were understaffed or that someone would be with as soon as they could or told anything but not a word was said to us. I would have been more understanding if it was super busy, but it was 1:30 on Sunday afternoon and there were only a handful of customers. We will definitely not be going back.

Street tacos were too greasy. Chips were over cooked, salsa was ok. Guacamole was bland. Rice was way to mushy and looked old. Had to pay a 4% for paying with a card. I paid for 2 orders of street tacos, 2 can cokes and scoop of guacamole (the serving was so small ) it was 37$.I asked her if that was with the 4% surcharge she said yes and it wasn’t. Just disappointed, won’t be going back.
