Huge Portions, Brisket, Chicken, Pulled Pork are so delicious on their own, perfectly flavored! The Special Stuffed Potato is unbelievably good. People need to come and try their food….even the sides are great. Lots of items on the menu under $10.

Perfection takes time and the time these folks put into their craft makes it all worth the while. From the inviting atmosphere friendly staff and excellent food there is not another barbecue place in Ruidoso that can compare.

I would love to review the food, but we did not get it! We were seated super quick, received our drinks and ordered all super quick. Staff was super friendly. We ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwich’s, one with potato salad a d one with Mac-n-cheese. Nothing super difficult. We watched 4 or 5 tables come in order and receive their food. After about 30 minutes with no waitstaff coming by our table, I asked what I think was the manager. He went and checked on it and came back with 2 sliced brisket sandwich’s. We decided at that point to forgo lunch. We offered to pay for our teas which they said don’t worry about it. So not sure about the food, but a few kinks to work out.

I love this place! The jalapeño poppers were just the way I like them and the burnt pork belly ends were something different for a change & delicious! The brisket and ribs were tender and full of great flavor. Everyone was very friendly and our server was sweet but nervous lol! She’s young & just needs to learn how to look at you instead of the table. We still tipped her good! We will definitely go back!

This was the first time eating here with my family! We absolutely loved it. The chopped brisket sandwiches are amazing. The sausage sandwich is great too. I would recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the outside seating is just incredible. The scenery is beautiful. The inside is gorgeous.

Backyard BBQ & Grill earned a job well done for our local NWTF event. The food looked and tasted tasted fantastic. The staff was very helpful and professional. I recommend them for catering your event. Their menu options are flexible and affordable. . Good place to eat and host a party as well. Thank you again!

I did not like anything I ordered here. The pull pork sandwich was ok, but the BBQ sauce did not have much flavor. The potato salad was bland as can be- totally tasteless. The mac and cheese was no good either- almost tasted like old cheese. Nothing was impressive. Service was quick and we had a very cordial waitress- Denise. However, the Dickies was much better.
