I recently visited Krishna catering Farmington hills and had an extremely disappointing experience. While the ambiance was good, my meal took a concerning turn when I discovered a metal nut in my food. I was shocked and immediately alerted the staff.
While accidents can happen in a kitchen, this was a major lapse in quality control.
The reception staff was apologetic( who had nothing to do with kitchen. Who did not even work in the kitchen) but the kitchen staff did not bother to come out and talk to us.
I hope they take this incident seriously and improve their safety and inspection procedures.
Until then, I’ll be hesitant to return, as food safety is paramount.

This South Indian veg thali was pure comfort on a tray! The variety made it feel like a mini feast — fluffy basmati rice, soft chapatis, flavorful dal, and a creamy paneer curry that was rich and perfectly spiced.
The bhindi (okra) sabzi was cooked just right — not too oily, with a nice balance of spices and texture. The pickle added that tangy kick, and the curd was fresh and cooling, which balanced out the heat of the curries really well.
I liked the small sides too — the crunchy chips were a nice touch to finish the meal.The portion size was satisfying without being too heavy.
Overall, this thali had everything you’d want: good variety, homestyle taste, and a comforting balance of flavors. Definitely recommended for anyone craving a simple but delicious South Indian vegetarian meal!

Had such a great experience at this restaurant! The buffet spread was fresh, and had a wide variety of dishes that truly captured authentic taste. Specially the jalebi and fafda wss crispy, sweet, and just like you’d find back home. Definitely a place I would recommend!!!!!

I think their main business is catering & not restaurant. $17 for this buffet is not worth when compared to other Bharatiy restaurants. Roti are straight taken from frozen packet & served hot to us. This is not we expect when we go to a restaurant. Food quality is good, nothing exceptional. Cashier guy wasn’t looking happy at all. I was surprised to see his response / behavior even being a Krishna devotee. I hope they will improve the service & I will give five star ratings some day. All the best.

Today I got bhindi masala and shahi paneer for take out and while shahi paneer was good, the bhindi masala was a disaster. I couldn’t even eat half of it because half of it had really hard (drumstick like) okra and even the tops werent removed. In the picture the left side is edible and the right is not.

This place serves indian food. Good items on menu. Prices are reasonable. However overall experience here was average. Okay okay place. Plus point is this is vegetarian restaurant. Other choices within near proximity to be explored. They also take catering and take out as well as dining in services are available.

Ambience is great but food is not great. Went to a buffet and we were the only ones at the buffet. No one really came and checked on us till we paid and walked out which felt weird. There was minimal food with everything tasting sweet. Roti was left cold and sambhar, dhal makhani , lentil soup all tasted the same. We ordered dosa from the menu and it was rubbery with coconut chutney made with bad coconut. Overall, food quality and service is not great. Dosa was soggy , rubbery.

Unfortunately, my experience with Krishna Catering & Restaurant was unsatisfactory. The food was not good, and the service was extremely poor. What made it worse was the lack of communication—the owner did not answer calls or reply to messages. This level of service is unacceptable.

Only tried the buffet not the main menu, but the food was underwhelming for the price (over $10). There’s much better Indian buffets in the area, although they’re generally not vegetarian focused. The main menu items may be better quality, although from the look of it I do not have much faith.
