Honduran tamales. First of all, let me say when it comes to Honduran made tamales, I am pretty jaded and prejudice to anyone else’s tamales. No one, and I mean NO ONE, makes them like my Mamita did hers. She gained her wings on December 29, 2016. Ok enough of the sappy stuff .

Not our first time trying this restaurant’s tamales. I’ve tried other Honduran restaurant’s tamales which are not as good as how this restaurant makes their’s. The tamales are good, but can use more seasonings, less fluid in the masa (corn flour that tortillas are made from) as the do fall apart very easily and, should be a little bit more heartier. The tamales are made with the masa mixture, topped with pork (stewed until saucey and savory), rice and potato wedge. They also had some made with chicken as well. They are wrapped in banana leaves (which adds additional flavor), then wrapped in aluminum foil to hold the shape and, finally steamed until done. Aside from my opinion of what can be done to enhance their tamales, I give them 3 stars because they can improve their technique.

Come get you some and try them. They can be eaten at anytime time in the day. For breakfast, lunch, dinner and, even for a snack.

I was excited to taste what looked like an authentic Mexican restaurant. I was highly disappointed. The atmosphere was dark and a little depressing. The menu had limited pictures. I chose something I recognized but ended up being tasteless. It looked great but it was NOT what I thought. I was very disappointed with the drink I ordered. It tasted so weird. I am definitely not coming back.

Everything is good every time, and the prices are awesome.
I eat here consistently and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. More people need to eat here and you should order a baleada.

This is such a great place to get some authentic Honduran food. Everything is good, Pollo Con Tajadas, Baleadas, and Pupusas are always delicious. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Worth the drive!

Went here at my cousins word. Wasn’t disappointed!! Had something delicious called baleadas with egg avocado and chicken in it with beans and love mixed in. Fresh, homemade tortillas were a nice bonus as the taste was spectacular. Definitely recommend this place!

I understand this is not strictly a Mexican restaurant. They serve Honduran and Mexican food per my understanding. I decided to get a Modelo michilada. It had great flavor. Despite they dried pepper flakes it wasn’t super spicy. I got carnitas, cueritos, al pastor and lengua tacos. They were for the most part bland, except for lengua. The cilantro was not fresh, it had black spots indicating it has been sitting there for at least a few days. Overall, good prices, but not the tastiest nor the freshest. Perhaps the Honduran menu is better.

I just got out of the restaurant not even 5 minutes ago and I ordered a baleada with steak the meat had a really bad smell like it was bad I told the lady up front and she didn’t even looked at it or anything and she said it was good and that we had to pay for it even though we didn’t even ate it cause of the smell and mind you I am pregnant and my sense of smell is very strong. And I was hungry and I was like you know what can I order some empanadas and my partner was like no it’s ok let’s just pay and leave and we said we didn’t want the empanadas and they still charged us for the empanadas and the baleada wish MEAT WAS BAD.

Don’t go to this restaurant , I ordered food, we waited an hour for this meal and they didn’t even put any salsa or aderezo on it as they normally do. The customer service here is very bad. There are better restaurants with Honduran food , like 504 restaurant and Golosinas Nurit .
