I’t could be a mistake but, I don’t think I’ll be back.
Don’t pass on dessert. That cookie skillet is money.
Let’s start with
The “French onion soup dip” is the same thing you get at the supermarket with sour cream and boxed onion mix seasoning. Charged $15 for CHIPS and sour cream? Absurd.
What a scam!!!
The burger was fine, but extremely rich. My issue is The add on costs for pickles and tomato’s was insane to me considering it is nickel and diming you for a specific option on the menu as a “build your own.” How are you going to nickel and dime on a custom burger making option when the add on topics are basic toppings?? I understand maybe bacon and grilled onions but not the basics.
I won’t be coming back. I can go to shake shake for the same quality for less.
The waitress was nice I sadly forgot her name. That was the only nice part of being there
I am sooo glad this joint now has occupancy in the area! As a woman of a certain age I really have to watch what I eat– But when I’m in a ‘Don’t Care” state of mine; THIS will be the place for me♡
This place may be the new kid on the block, but wow—they came out swinging. No Good Burger Joint Smashed is just a few weeks old, still shiny and full of hope, and you can taste that fresh energy in everything they do. The staff isn’t jaded, the food isn’t phoned in, and the burgers? Pretty damn legit.
Yes, they have other things on the menu—but come on. You walked into a place called No Good Burger Joint. You’re here for a burger, and they know it. These smashed patties are thin, crisp-edged, and packed with flavor. Not overcomplicated, just done right. And if one isn’t enough? Double it up. No shame here.
Now let’s talk onions—because they deserve their own paragraph. You’ve got two kinds:
Griddled Onions – classic white onions cooked hot and fast on the flat top. Savory, simple, and safe.
Pop’s Onions – this is where things get weird… in a good way. These are deeply caramelized, spiced-up, semi-sweet, melt-in-your-mouth mystery onions. We’re not totally sure what’s in them (and we respect the secrecy), but they’ve got a distinct flavor that either hits or misses, depending on your sweet tolerance. If sweet’s not your thing, stick with the griddled. If you like a little adventure, Pop’s might be your new go-to.
You can build your own burger, pick your bun, pile on the toppings, and basically live your best burger life. Customization is king here—but even the pre-designed options are solid.
Bottom line: No Good Burger Joint is off to a strong start. Local, unpretentious, and already better than half the chains out there. Get in before the lines get long and the staff gets jaded (kidding… sort of).
