I had been wanting to try this place for months and really wanted to like it. The brisket was tasty but under seasoned. The Mac and cheese was ok, but a little strange. The mild sausage was quite good and the tallow fries were great. Overall I would eat here again but wouldn’t make a special trip.

Outstanding food and outstanding service! The owner was very welcoming and even let us sample the prime rib. The sides were excellent. The mac and cheese was really good, but you have to try the jalapeño corn spoon bread. It was amazing. I will definitely be back!

I returned on 3/5/26. Night and day difference from my first visit. The service was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful I had the 3 meat plate. Moist brisket, ribs, and finally sausage. As good if not better than my first visit. I also had the wings. That rub on them was out of this world. House secret rub I’m told. The wings came with tallow fries, boy are they tasty. I stated I would return for just for the food and I stand by that. But go for the down to earth service and attention. This has become a favorite BBQ place.
First time to this location. I specifically told Miranda this. No explanation on how to order or what’s available, not very welcoming. I got the 2 meat plate and a drink. I paid $30ish. The plate comes with 2 sides. I only received one side. The soda machine was not working. The BBQ sauce station was a mess. I got the fatty brisket and pork ribs (they were out of sausage). The meats were great. The squash casserole delicious. If I go back it will be for food. Service and atmosphere mediocre.

My family has been hiping this place up and finally decided to go with them. Got 2 meat plate and a quesadilla. The brisket rice was actually pretty good. Beans were too sweet and not really smokey. The pork ribs were on par with a cheaper chain like spring creek. The brisket was absolutely awful. No bark and so moist it tasted and felt like it was boiled in water not smoked. It seemed like the owner or manager was publicly raising thier voice at a worker that wasn’t doing something right and everyone looks stressed. Overall I dont feel like it was worth the 50$.

I was craving bbq and there’s not many options in the Kingwood area. After a google search I found Fire Craft BBQ. first time customer. I ordered sausage and turkey. I was very impressed with the food! But what was even more impressionable was the owner himself approached me and introduced himself. He then gave me a sample of brisket (since I didn’t order any initially) and it was also amazing! He told me to be sure to come back and I definitely will be back. Great food & great service.

Class act!!! Yesterday, I ordered multiple meals and sides around noon for a dinner with guests to be picked up from Fire Craft around 5:00. I pulled in, and I was the only patron, as they were about to close for a private party. I said, “I am here to pay for my carry out” and stated my name. I was met with, “Put it away. You aren’t paying.” Somehow, my order was erased or got cancelled from their system, and to make up for it, I was greeted with a MASSIVE pan of brisket, ribs, and two kinds of sausage. At NO charge. But that’s not all. They felt so bad and upset they’d let a customer down, they also gave me a $100.00 gift card! I about fell over; sure, they made a mistake.It happens. But rather trying to excuse their way out of it, they admitted it and did WAY beyond what they had to do. They were genuine, sincere, and incredibly sorry. So, here I am, telling you that they not only make the best BBQ within 50 miles, but also they are run by classy, thoughtful, business owners and supported by amazing and kind workers. I’d give them infinity stars if I could!

Don’t follow the Google directions as they take you on a wild goose chase.
Food was great all around. Nice portion sizes and all the meats were flavorful and moist.
Staff was nice from start to finish. You can even get some samples.
On the peach cobbler, it needed more peaches and cinnamon and less breading.

First time dining here and I would come back. Ordered the sampler platter with ribs, sausage, chicken and brisket along with potatoe salad, cucumber salad and mac n cheese.
My only complaint is that I wish there was more smoke flavor to the meats. I like a little bit stronger flavor to bbq.
Other than that, the sides were very good and I would definitely return.

My husband and I ate there today. The hospitality is great. My husband was won over by the fact that he was allowed to have a sample before buying. A lot of BBQ restaurant don’t do that. He and I have eaten at a lot of BBQ places in Texas, this one here is a WINNER. The brisket is oh so tender. The cabbage and jalapeno cornbread was oh so good as well. The owner came to our table and introduced himself and he gave us some chili and BBQ to take home. It’s worth the price and the drive. Houston, this one is diffinently .

I was skeptical when I seen this place before walking inside , made my way to the counter and ordered mine and my wife’s meal and had my eyebrow raised just a little at the price …, but once I started eating …..everything in my life started to make sense, and all weight on my shoulders lifted , and all was clear ….. I will definitely be coming back . I absolutely have nothing bad to say about this little place. 🙂 thx for a good experience and the good food Fire Craft , well done ….
