Great bar and open latest in Melbourne. Be careful of the mirror in the bathrooms – there is no mirror just a window to the other bathroom which is a little creepy. I was looking in the “window/mirror” for a minute wondering if I was a vampire because there was no reflection. Bartender was great and good selection of drinks. We’ll be back for sure.

I have been going to Debauchery for the past few months or so with my sister and parents to play pool. Typically a good experience, however tonight, we were insulted and completely offended! I put $5 in the pool table which should have given us 4 games (the 4th game being an extra game you get when putting $5 in the table). After just 2 games, the table would not let us continue. So we addressed the bar tender on duty who then told “Security”. He came over and told us it might have happened because they are supposed to plug the pool tables in but sometimes he forgets. He proceeded to take the side of the pool table off where the balls collect after a shot is made and told us we could play the 2 games we had left. We had just completed our 3rd game which meant we had 1 game remaining. The man who was working security came over to us just as we were starting our 4th and last game and told us “I can’t let you play for free all night” as if we were trying to get over on them. We replied and let him know that we just finished our 3rd game and just started the 4th and final game. To which he responded “oh really, ok”. First of all, I’m not hard up for a buck fifty cuz! Nobody was trying to take advantage of the situation and maybe if you consistently plugged your pool tables in as you indicated, this wouldn’t happen! 2nd always ask before assuming! The word assume starts with the first 3 letters that is does for a reason! My parents didn’t even want to continue to play there after that. We left and I did not finish my drink because we no longer wanted to be there! Do better and treat your customers with respect!

No food available on the day of the special venue when the Jamey Buffett cover band Was playing on March 7, 2026. I bought four tickets for family and friends.. According to the Advertisement by the venue of the event was to start at six and close out at 10 PM. The event didn’t start until 7 PM no food was served only one bartender to handle beverages for more than 100 people and no food Was made available from the Limited menu.
To make things worse all chairs were removed, So there was standing room only which left very little room to navigate throughout the small venue. Smoking was allowed on the outdoor patio with doors open to the inside which caused a great deal of aggravation to my party that cannot tolerate any sort of tobacco smoke. The band was loud, And even though they were respectable, It was very hard to hear the lead vocalist as it was drowned out by the music. It’s such a shame that poor management allowed cigarette smoking and they allowed advertising this particular cover band to start at six but didn’t start till 7 PM.

Awesome…Yarn rocked Debauchery in Melbourne! Blake Christiana and his crew put on an unforgettable show….The setlist had something for everyone, from the soulful vibes of “Heaven in You” to the upbeat energy of “Down at the Dance Hall.” Blake’s storytelling between songs added humor and warmth, making us feel part of the Yarn family…Debauchery was the perfect setting…intimate, welcoming, and the sound quality amplified every note. Watching the band’s impressive solos up close was incredible….This wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience. Can’t wait until Yarn returns!

Great bar for small concerts. We were able to see both performances upfront and close.

Does anyone else think whoever planned the crowd control should have been in the same room as whoever planned having a two way mirror in the bathroom? past midnight they are kicking people out of the bathrooms for spending too much time playing with their “reflections” the barkeeps are solid and patient. it is a dive bar with a fairly historical reputation, so temper your expectations
i’m sober so I only come here to dance when i hear the dj is playing stuff i can dance to(?)

We were targeted and ultimately kicked out for no reason. This was a sad event and I am struggling to understand why.. please educate yourself and be better.

It’s alright. Went on a Sunday night with some friends from out of state. First time trying out the bars in downtown Melbourne for me too. We did get ID checked at the door, which was fine. Then bags checked, then metal detected. It was a little much for me, but safety first I guess? The security guard was pretty nice about it, so I wasn’t upset by any means. He also was running around helping clean messes and being attentive to members in a good way.
I had two drinks and they tasted
completely different than each other. If you want good drinks, this is not the place. This is the place you go for insanely loud club mix music, but not the good kind either. We were there for about an hour and the music never got better. Saw some decent reviews about the live music, so was pretty surprised. Would’ve preferred the jukebox over that.
The first bartender I had was super nice, remade my friends drink after she knocked hers with her elbow. The shorter guy with the beard. The other bartender, girl with blonde hair, was a bit rude when I went to cash out. She asked for the name and I yelled to her my last name, but she looked annoyed at me for not being loud enough and put her hand by her ear to indicate she couldn’t hear. So I screamed my last name again and got the hell out of there. Like…sorry we can’t even hear enough to yell to each other over this garbage music? Why you look annoyed with me??
Overall, expected more, went for the music, and it was no bueno. Drinks didn’t make up for it, and neither did the service really. Eh, wouldn’t recommend it.
