Absolutely delicious! Our service was excellent and our chef was AMAZING! Everything was cooked perfectly and the chef put on quite a show! This was our first time to this location and it did not disappoint. We all had Rocky’s choice which is a steak and chicken combo with grilled onions and zucchini…it was soooo good! This place has the best chicken fried rice on the planet… It was so hot and fresh! All the servers and chef were so nice and made sure we got everything we wanted! I would definitely recommend Benihana for an exciting atmosphere and great food. We will definitely come back again!

I’m a frequent flyer because they have an amazing happy hour. This visit I arrived right at 6pm so I was too late to partake. There’s a new friends with benefit program where you get $50 for your bday to use at any of their restaurant groups. I decided to splurge with the ocean trio – lobster, shrimp, scallops, and I upgraded to steak fried rice. Everything was cooked perfectly. The scallops were the best taste and texture wise I’ve ever had, they were so delicate and not rubbery or too fishy. Steak fried rice is my new favorite. The service was phenomenal and though I dined alone at a high top table, I felt at complete peace and contrary to belief not alone at all. I’ve enjoyed some great dining this week (check out my Green Dragon Carlsbad review). I’ll be back next week at Benihana.

Plan on waiting EVEN if you have reservations. We waited just over an hour as did many others who had reservations. Disregarding this inconvenience, the place was great. The meals we ordered were high-quality, delicious and worth the wait. We ordered two of the $39 benihana sampler meals which is a taste of a little bit of everything and it was great. Had a good time! Just be prepared to chill for awhile if it is a weekend and don’t get upset. Just accept it.

Ordered online for curbside pickup. We came close to 10 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, checked in like the text message instructed us to and waited in a designated curbside pickup parking space. After 15 minutes of waiting my husband went inside to ask about our food only to be told by staff what we’re supposed to come inside for our order. I wish we would have known that through the website (how we ordered) or through the text thread for our order. After making it home, our food was cold and the steak we ordered medium was definitely overcooked. For what I paid I was not happy with the circumstances or the food. I’m not sure if I’d come back to dine in again, but I don’t recommend curbside pickup.

Not on is July 4th a day to celebrate our independence but it’s was also our day to celebrated my husband’s 65th birthday AND retirement on the same day. I surprised him with The Chef Experience which was awesome! Erick is the head chef and was Joel’s teacher. Joel had to go in the day before to practice a couple hours with Erick. If you’re considering something unique for someone this is it! We had a blast, lots of laughs, good food and a great group to celebrate with. A special thank you to the general manager Lisa who presented Joel with a very nice gift. Megan who was very attentive as our server and of course The Master Chef Erick! He did have to step in twice to give my husband a hand. At the he got to keep the apron and hat! It was more than we even expected! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Been here twice now and both times were great. We had a reservation both times so we were sat quickly. The cooks all have their own style and quirks. We did prefer one of the cooks over the other so the taste of food does vary on who you get. I’ve had the lobster, filet mignon, colossal shrimp, chicken, and scallops. They were all great. They offer five and six course meals so there is something for everyone.

The steak and chicken were cooked perfectly, the fried rice was flavorful, and everything came out hot and fresh. Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Even during a busy time, service was smooth and well-organized.
Overall, a solid spot for a fun dining experience with good food and great energy. Definitely a go-to place in Temecula for birthdays, family outings, or just a night out. Will be back again!

Huge disappointment. We weren’t impressed at all especially for spending $390. We went on a Sunday night at 5:30pm and it wasn’t crowded. It was our daughters 18th bday and she chose benihana for the Japanese experience, wish we would’ve went to shogun. The chef was attentive, cooked our food to our likeness and had a great personality but not as interactive as we expected nor as they portray in ads. As for a “Japanese dining experience” besides the food preparation and traditional tea there I wouldn’t call it a Japanese dining experience. The server was awful, we got our own drinks from the bar because he took 20 mins to bring someone at the table a drink, he brought our steamed rice 15 mins after the chef had our plated our onions and zucchini that go with the rice so that was ice cold already. I had something caught in my throat (not their fault), was coughing and choking while trying to flag down the server but he didn’t pay attention, after about 10 minutes of trying to suppress my coughing as not to disrupt the table I finally got some water and took it outside so I didn’t bother the table
I went to the bar to ask for more water, the bar back acknowledged me and kept loading the dishwasher. I told him I had something caught in my throat and really needed water, he look at me saw that tears we’re running down my face from whatever was stuck in my throat, said ok, then proceeded to load another glass before getting me water. The service was just awful. We’ll never return. I wish I would’ve said something to a manager but it was our kids birthday and I didn’t want her to see how unhappy her parents were. I’d pick another location if you want to visit a benihana.

My last time ordering from here! The rice is never cooked right or the chicken (I honestly think old food is being reheated or something). Just burnt food smushed into the container. Save your money
Would give this place 0 stars if I could. They should’ve stayed unbuilt you can just tell it’s dry. I also ordered my chicken to be cut really small, but as you can see no one listened

I had an incredible experience at Benihana, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the amazing team who made it unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-notch.
Our waitress, Megan, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. She made us feel welcome right away.
Our chef, Kelly, was the highlight of the night! Not only was the food delicious, but Kelly’s energy, skill, and personality made the whole hibachi experience so much fun. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and the showmanship was fantastic.
And a big thank you to Bill, the manager, who checked in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect. His professionalism and genuine care for the guests really stood out.
