I have been going here for decades and there’s a reason for it. The food is always consistently good. The service is exceptionally consistent and many have been working there for as many decades. I’ve been going the surroundings and atmosphere are comfortable and clean. They are great at being responsive and putting forward a great experience. I’ll always go back.

Bought Chicken chimichangas and…. Would not recommend. The red sauce tastes like a terrible pasta sauce? Very confusing. Checked reviews before going and was excited to try, but will never be back.

Dinner @ Chez Jose Thursday evening 11/13. Not busy,ok with
us. Instant seating, instant service by Bob(aka Paul Giamatta). Food was excellent, no hovering, Bob was available when needed.
Margaritas perfect, Squash enchiladas, salad and rib and beans appetizer so tasty.
Been eating there since they opened!

We are in town for work and a friend brought us here for “the best” Mexican food! Chez Jose did not disappoint! We were greeted immediately and sat with in 5 minutes. The service was good from start to finish.
We started with the fresh chips and salsa & a couple of the house cocktails. The server only brought the mild salsa and guac. The salsa was warm and the guac was delicious and fresh. I would definitely recommend the house infused jalapeño tequila blood orange margarita!

Our host got the Carne Asada. My husband ordered the Cilantro Chicken rice bowl and I ordered the Chili Colorado .

Great little hole in the wall place.. (As we all know those are the best) Friendly service and fast… Great flavors in the carne asada.. Large portions…. I had the blood orange margarita.. Was tasty… Slow period of the day when I was there. Bartender stood around a lot… Seemed to get busy around 5pm… Great space for large parties…. Clean Environment.. Unlike most Mexican resturants… The basket of chips and salsa are NOT free… They charge…

Food is decent.
Really the quality I was hoping for from an 18$ chicken and rice bowl.
There was a while when I was eating the blackbean soup every day for some reason. The soup is super overpriced for what it is, but it’s good. Maybe it’s a better experience when you aren’t getting takeout.

Staff is friendly and professional. Service is quick. Food…could really use more spice. Kinda pricey. Probably a great restaurant if you’re a family of 6.

The old owners have sold the restaurant to more Chez Jose lovers & they have kept all the same recipes….except the hot salsa is how blended rather than the bits of veggies that used to there just in a different way. Same great taste!

Used to be our favorite restaurant but what happened to the warm salsa, chunks of onion in the cold salsa and items with goat cheese. Plus my college age kids would rather go somewhere else because of the fajitas. We’ve been going since the kids were little. Bummer

Why change what people loved? Lines & waiting while having a margarita. Miss it!

Still great staff & service.

Chez Jose is the jam. Tasty and unique twists on the classics, I love the squash enchiladas and mezcal marg. The marg is no slouch… Packs a punch and tastes “homemade”. The salsas are not at all what you would expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant but they are delicious!

The staff is rad time and time again. There is a professional, no nonsense approach with a playful vibe. They are always hauling a$$ but seem to be having fun.

Lucky to live nearby!

I was surprised at the little amount of food for the price. The quality of the food was good, but not so that I would go back and pay those prices.
