Family restaurant serving all day breakfast, except Friday 4pm – 8pm, during our famous weekly fish fry. We serve hand held fare, poutines, our tomato macaroni soup and cutlery dining to all customers. We encourage tourists or those driving through to take the two minutes off the highway at Boundary road and enjoy a sit down meal.

Reviews
The staff were warm and friendly, and the restaurant was clearly a favourite with locals, buzzing with regulars. On future visits to the Soo, Chummy’s will be a must-stop for me. Wonderful experience all around.
Food was solid , onion rings didn’t disappoint. The small Caesar salad was enough for 2 people as an appetizer. The deep fried pickles ” were good, they were deep fried pickles ” — the gf (( I don’t like them, hard to swallow )). Had the pulled pork sandwich which held up, like a solid 7/10. Can’t complain, I expected worse. And the FRIES are solid ✔️
To add, chief burger is crazy in size, the burger is enough for a Man (( add cheese, remove relish, add pickles ))
Service was cool, didn’t have to ask for more napkins or anything. Also didn’t kick it us out after close.
It deserves a 1 star because there isn’t really much native people working there – very disappointing business – and the food and menu is misleading
The place was packed at around 6pm. It took a while to get seated but the vibe was warm and humming with conversation.
Glad to see this Batchewana First Nation restaurant thriving. Best food I’ve had in Sault Ste. Marie so far.
Really interesting and unique menu too. Regret not trying the “scone frybread”.
The eggs benedict is outstanding. The hollandaise sauce is exactly how I like it, and I appreciate that they ask how soft you want your eggs cooked. I love a soft, oozy yolk that isn’t runny, and they nailed it every time. The home fries are also excellent, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and lightly seasoned. My husband has loved the omelettes and french toast.
Service has always been friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere feels both cozy and welcoming. The restaurant is spotless and inviting, and with it being so close to home, I know we will be regulars here for a long time to come.
