We loved the shrimp and scallop hush puppies and fried feta cheese was not bad. My husband said he liked chicken with hot honey and mashed potato. I did not like my pasta at all. It looked boring and tasted awful. If I would want to visit this place again, it would be only for the ambience. Love the greenery inside and the waterfall. There is ample amount of parking outside.
When we arrived we were greeted and seated quickly. We waited on one guest then ordered. The bread came out quickly and so did the appetizers for the ones that ordered. The main courses did take a little longer to arrive which is understandable with a larger party.
Everyone enjoyed their food and most said it’s a beautiful setting for a wedding dinner or a large party.
My lamb was cooked perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed the jam and goat cheese sides. The French Country Dinner was another great meal. The duck was nice and crispy, the beans paired well with the cranberries and sausage.
I will be returning and bringing my family to enjoy Terra Terroir!
We started with the jumbo lump crab cakes, which were a hit—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of fresh crab flavor. The vanilla yams were an interesting twist—while the vanilla was a bit strong, they were still enjoyable. The gambas al ajero (garlic shrimp) were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, definitely one of the standout appetizers. The lamb lollipop chops were well-seasoned and delicious, though on the smaller side in terms of portion.
For the main course, I had the slow-braised pork shank, which was hearty, tender, and full of flavor—a very satisfying dish with generous portions. We also ordered the Kansas City strip, and although I didn’t try it myself, my son’s friend commented on how flavorful and tender it was. The seafood special, featuring Alaskan halibut, was another hit at the table—well-prepared and enjoyed by everyone who tried it.
One note: several of us noticed that our dishes were not served hot, more lukewarm. While it didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience, it’s something worth mentioning.
The restaurant’s interior is beautifully decorated, evoking a European ambiance that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different part of the world. The service was attentive and warm from start to finish.
Final Verdict: Terra Terroir is definitely a spot worth visiting. If you’re in town and looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and charming atmosphere, put this place on your list. Just hope the kitchen turns up the heat on those plates next time!
From the moment we walked in, we felt we were transported to a different world. While the restaurant is small looking, you are taken into this beautiful atrium full of trees, plants, fireplaces, and a waterfall(all enclosed). Everything has the ambiance of a villa you would find in the Mediterranean.
Crystal was our server. She was amazing and worked with us on our wine and dishes. Crsytal was very engaging with any questions we had.
We had the crab cake for the appetizer. It was all crab with very little filler and cooked to perfection.
We ordered the Peas and Carrots. Which is actually sea scallops, baby carrots, English peas, risotto, ginger carrot reduction, sweet pea coulis. The scallops were soft and seared on outside. The risotto was creamy and full of flavor.
Also ordered Coconut Thai Salmon
Salmon from cold Antarctic waters, in a warm coconut Thai curry broth with black lentils and basmati rice, shitake and hon shimeji mushrooms, with bok choy. The salmon was soft and flaky and seasoned just right. The Thai curry sauce was not spicy at all. It was perfect. The mushrooms were not overcooked, and the lentils and rice made a great combo.
This whole dinner was over the top amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.
