This place is such an unsung hero of Hyannis. Authentic Mexican that is truly the most delicious I’ve had on Cape Cod. The margaritas are fantastic and made from scratch with real lime juice. The passionfruit spicy margarita is one of the best I’ve ever had ever. We’ve been three times now And it is consistent. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is exceptional. The service Can be a little slow, but if you wait, I’m sure that you will be happy with your meal.

This will definitely be the first and last time I’ll ever go to this place. I asked if they had the white melted cheese , they said yes , and what they brought me out was mozzarella melted cheese, not only that , me as a Latino and know about seasoning that food was not seasoned to perfection, it definitely needed more seasoning.. With that being said ,that’s why I gave it a one star and to be honest , I would have gave it a minus star. By far hands down the worst mexican restaurant I have ever been to. If you’re in the area and looking for a good mexican restaurant do not I repeat , do not waste your time going to Mi Pueblo. My opinion. And I still gave the waitress a good tip , because it was not her fault. Ps: to the restaurant , do you guys a favor get the real white melted cheese , not mozzarella. J/S

Ordered deliver on a common takeout App. Had high hopes, ordered Birria Tacos plate and Carne Asada plate(pretty common judge of how good a Mexican restaurant will be). The delivery was good, fast, no issues. The food however, extremely bland…….. A very common theme on Cape cod regarding Mexican food. I don’t understand why restaurants are so hesitant to season any of their food. Don’t get me wrong, I ate all the tacos, but, flavor simply wasn’t there. Especially with Birria, I get it, its a lot of effort to make, I know, I make an incredible Birria at home and its a process…….. But come on, for this price….. Taco Bell has more flavor in their tacos, and thats sad.
I truly hope someone from this restaurant reads this, “Buy some dried chili powder(Guajillo, Ancho, Arbol), 1 TBSP Guajillo/Ancho per pound of beef, 1 TSPN Arbol per 2 pounds of Beef. 1 TBSP Mexican Oregano per 2 pounds of Beef. 1 TBSP Cumin per 2 pounds of Beef. 1 TSPN Cinnamon per 2 pounds of Beef. 1/2 TSPN clove per 4 pounds of Beef. 1 TBSP salt per 2 pounds of beef. 1 TBSL black pepper per 2 pounds of beef. 1 whole white onion, pureed, per 2 pounds of Beef. 2 Roma tomatoes, pureed, per 2 pounds of Beef. Regardless of method, I guarantee these ingredients will add the depth of flavor that people deserve. Make it with these ingredients, and you will secure a life long customer.
Until then, I cannot return for future business

We’ve been going to family-run Mi Pueblo since it was a tiny hole-in-the-wall more than a decade ago. The new location has an inviting bar and colorful simple interior, and all the staff are super sweet. Food’s delicious and their signature salsa is the best I’ve had, smoky and rich. Veggie fajitas are fab and last night i had the shrimp tempura taco special, delish, and their Cape Cod margarita is awesome. Highly recommend.

If you want some authentic Mexican food and haven’t tried Mi Pueblo in Hyannis you need to go now!
The best tamales and margaritas made by will.
The drink in the picture is my Mexican cowboy, which is the Mexican version of an old-fashioned. Delicious.

Funky relaxed atmosphere..very simple..almost bare. The food was fabulous..comparable to the food we got in CA. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We went because of the great reviews and Im happy to add to them. Highly recommended.

This place is “Minnis” 1 star
We went for dinner, and if they were to offer us what they gave us as a lunch meal for $9.95, I would say it it was ok.
By the way, I would never eat at a place now a days for $9.95 ” maybe 15 years ago.
I won’t say everything I didn’t like, though they mist the mark on everything.
Hope for better days ahead, and hopefully, it will improve best wishes.

The music is excellent, however the experience left much to be desired. My burrito only had chicken, beans, cheese, and rice, although it was to have guac, sour cream, etc. the food took over an hour to arrive. We also had to ask for our complementary chips and salsa and there were several ants on the outdoor table. My friend ordered an horchata and it came out tasting like cold iced milk. When my friend politely asked the server to send it back because it did not taste like horchata (she’s Latina and has enjoyed horchata her entire life) the server replied that horchata was basically sugar, milk, and a little bit of cinnamon. He disregarded my friend’s comment on the beverage tasting like iced milk and reluctantly took the drink back. Finally, our server was never around except for to take our order and 10 minutes after the food arrived. We had to give someone else our check in order to get out in a timely manner.

Mi Pueblo is the place I’ve been searching for! As a girl from south TX, I get nostalgic for the food. I have been unable to find anything resembling what I knew growing up. But here, the tamales were absolutely delicious and brought me to another place and time. I imagined myself going to the little tamale shop down the street from my house in San Antonio. The chips were warm and tasted house made, and the salsa was incredible. It had a unique smokey flavor and just enough kick (I love spice so it’s probably too spicy for most ppl here, but that’s a good thing I think), also the guacamole was fresh and amazing. I came in the middle of the day so it was completely empty, but I was greeted by two friendly faces as well as an adorable family member and friend (two 4 year olds) who couldn’t have been better company while I awaited my much anticipated lunch. To say Mi Pueblo made my day is an understatement. Mi Pueblo is the relationship I’ve been waiting for, and there’s no going back! Searching far and wide but finally found you, it’s a love story that I hope never ends!!! My life is changed for the better now. I’ll be back for sure. ❤️
