I’ve never left a review for a Starbucks before, but the experience I had at the Starbucks on I-45 & Louetta truly blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive in a way I’ve never seen at any other location. Not only did they bring me my drink to the table, but they also checked on nearly every guest to make sure we were all satisfied and taken care of—like we were at a full-service restaurant.
Victoria, the manager, is clearly doing an exceptional job leading this team. The store was clean, organized, and had a positive energy that made it stand out. I was highly impressed with the way everything was run. This is the gold standard of what Starbucks service should look like. Keep it up!
The barista at the drive-thru was very kind and willing to help, but the manager chimed in unexpectedly and told me, in a noticeably rude tone, that foam was not part of the drink. I didn’t ask for a manager, and the way it was said felt unnecessary.
I had no issue paying for it if that’s how this location handles it. The attitude just made the whole interaction uncomfortable, so I don’t think I’ll be returning. I do want to acknowledge the drive-thru barista, she handled the situation with kindness and professionalism.
At the window, I was handed two cold food items (a sandwich and a wrap/burrito that should have been warm) and two completely melted drinks. I politely asked if the drinks could be re-blended or remade since I had already been waiting over 30 minutes. The employee seemed bothered and went to “check with the manager.” After waiting another 10 minutes, the manager came to the window and asked me to pull up by the umbrellas so she could bring out my remade drinks personally.
I waited another 45 minutes, and no one ever came out. I know exactly how long I waited because I was already clocked in to work during all of this. In total, I lost an hour and a half dealing with this order.
I had to go back through the drive-thru line again. When I finally got to the window, the employee handed me the same melted drinks and sarcastically asked if they were “better.” They were clearly the same drinks from earlier. She then asked if I needed straws, for a blended drink, obviously I do.
This experience was completely unacceptable.
I need management or corporate to contact me immediately. I am requesting a full refund for all items AND additional compensation for the hour and a half of lost time, the inconvenience, and the extremely poor service I received.
Your staff needs proper training, and no customer should ever experience something like this.
