Been dying to try Kicky’s since its inception. and while I wandering around town today I decided, on a whim, to see if they had a table and thankfully they did! From start to finish, the food, service, and setting were all flawless. The croquettes were my favourite – just absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I’ll genuinely be dreaming about them! Really loved the rabbit ragu too. Super salty but so delicious! Staff were excellent, attentive but not overbearing. Greeted everyone, took their coats etc. Just an all round fabulous experience. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Our experience in Kickys couldn’t have been better. From start to finish we got efficacnt service with a smile. The food was outstanding. The best meal I have ever had in Dublin.

It’s difficult to come by a restaurant this high of standards. Absolutely incredible. Thank you to all the team for our evening.

I genuinely wanted to go into the kitchen and thank all of the chefs / kitchen porters. They deserve so much credit ⭐️

10/10

We got the taste of Kicky’s menu and everything was superb. The drinks are fantastic too.

There were so many items that I’d love to have as my stand alone meal but I wouldn’t be able to pick which one to have.

However, the pièce de résistance was the Basque cheesecake. My overwhelming feeling when eating this (especially on my first bite) was happiness. Pure bliss. I had never had a basque cheesecake until now (and I love cheesecake) and this simply blew me away. Each bite put a smile on my face and I’ve been craving Kicky’s basque cheesecake ever since. Mark my words, I will be back.

Honourable mention and unsung hero – the bread with the carbonara butter. Blew the taste buds clean off me!

Anyways, fantastic spot with great service, food, and atmosphere. Come for the food, stay for the cheesecake!

Always a 10/10 experience. The food is always fantastic. The dishes are unique, well thought out and balanced. The potato focaccia and carbonara butter is heaven sent, honestly unmatched in Ireland! The cocktails are also great and honestly worth going for just cocktails if you’re not eating. Brilliant selection of food and cocktails in general. The staff are also lovely, really attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant is a relaxed and comfortable setting, really easy to talk.

We had a wonderful meal at Kicky’s. Our waitress, Heather, was brilliant. Thank you! The atmosphere was relaxed and service was fast. We had the taster menu and the food was outstanding. Lots of different flavours and beautifully cooked. We absolutely loved our kicky’s experience. Would definitely recommend.

Out of this world good! (Forgot to take pictures of the starters) we had croquettes, the bread with carbonara butter, olives, and sausage stuffed padron peppers to start… so so good! Carefully chosen ingredients, decedent flavours, stunning! And the pasta portions were a great size, not too big or too small. Again, rich and delicious flavours. Topped off with a stunning burnt basque cheesecake. HIGHLY recommend for a date night or special occasion. Thank you

We made reservations here for the last night of our honeymoon to treat ourselves a bit, and wow! it was absolutely worth it! We chose the Kicky’s tasting menu because we couldn’t decide what to eat and every single item was incredible.

The anticipation leading up to our visit at kickys was immense and kickys certainly lived up to the hype. The decor is very bougie. The atmosphere very romantic and the seating very intimate. Room for groups and couples alike. The bar man sean was very attentive and well versed in his knowledge of drinks. An offering of wine or none alcoholic wine on arrival was much appreciated for our Anniversary. Heather our server was very welcoming. Each exchange was informative and interesting. We felt very comfortable and well looked after because we simply wore. The tasting menu offered a wide variety of good eats. The stars of the show for us was the very unique homemade foccia with carbonara butter. The perfectly cooked john dory with cockle and clam paella and saffron aoli, along with the exquisitely cooked 40 day aged striploin with Irish mushrooms and beef roasting juices. Finally the the burnt basque cheese cake stole the show. Rich, creamy and flavourful. Usually paired with Irish strawberries, tonight’s pairing was macerated black berries and a raspberry sorbet. Which i feel was the better pairing as the tart raspberry sorbet cut right through the decadent Ballylisk cheese, balanced beautifully with the macerated black berries. An over all exciting food experience, absolutely worth a visit and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much for making our Anniversary dinner one to remember.
