Don’t let the pics fool you! Aligned with all the other Frog Ponds, the plates are huge and the portions are more than enough.

The waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend!

Absolute awesome breakfast at The Frog Pond. The Bull Frog meal was perfect. Bodybuilder style breakfast: steak, 8 eggs, a pancake, and a full fruit plate. Unreal portions and everything cooked perfectly. We also had the Western omelet and the cinnamon roll French toast and they were . Papa Frog was awesome, service was on point, and my wife and I left stuffed and happy. If you’re even thinking about breakfast here, just go. Highly recommend! Easy to access from the beach (small side street)

Tucked away in the heart of St. Pete Beach, The Frog Pond is the kind of hidden gem every traveler hopes to stumble upon. From the moment we sat down, it was clear why locals and vacationers alike rave about this spot—it’s casual, welcoming, and unapologetically generous with its portions.

The breakfast here was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. Plates arrive quickly, heaping with food that’s not only plentiful but surprisingly well-priced. Let’s talk about the bacon —perfectly crisp, smoky, and honestly divine. My honey went for the Spanish Omelette, and I’ve never seen someone rave about eggs with such enthusiasm. Every bite looked so good that we didn’t even pause for photos (a food blogger’s ultimate compliment).

We grabbed a cozy booth inside, where the atmosphere was lively but never rushed. Our server, Daniel, struck the perfect balance of laid-back beach vibes and attentive service. He knew the menu inside out, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made us feel right at home. If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Daniel—he’ll elevate your experience.

Bottom line: The Frog Pond delivers hearty, flavorful comfort food at lightning speed with a side of true beach-town hospitality. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-stop breakfast spot in St. Pete Beach.

This restaurant is now sharing space with another restaurant after their building was lost in the storm. It was a little confusing for us upon arrival.
The corned beef hash was crispy and flavorful as well as the potatoes.
We were mixed on their cinnamon roll French toast. I thought it was good, but my husband didn’t care for it.
He got a side of ham and grits which were both very tasty.
Service was very friendly and prompt.
We would go again.

I am totally blown away by this place folks!!!! The food is amazing and the entire staff is so welcoming and professional. If you are looking for THE BEST breakfast and lunch spot within 50 miles of St Pete Beach then load up the kids and Granny and make a trip to The Frog Pond and experience the most delicious food ever in the area.

The knowledgeable staff from servers to Gina the Manager are always smiling and welcoming to both regular customers and new folks visiting for the first time!!!

We will continue to make the drive from Sarasota just to explore the next culinary masterpiece that comes out of their kitchen doors.

So happy the Frog Pond is back!!!!! We had a wonderful meal! Eggs in the Pan 10/10 French toast 10/10! Cheese omelette was another 10/10! The side dishes portions were plenty as well! Love how they kept the previous menu with some good additions! Also , like that they have a different coffee now… Kahwa. Erika was our waitress and she was beyond stellar and was so kind & attentive. Portions were substantial and same as before. Love the new space and got to talk to Raymond the owner as well also very kind and really cared about our experience and has a great vision for the space. Highly recommend! Stop in! It’s worth it!!!! So glad they’re back!!!! Make the trip and go and then keep going! Support local!!!!

So disappointing…
I had been looking forward to eating here for over a year, especially after all the hurricanes, but unfortunately our experience was not a good one. Parking was a nightmare to start, and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Once we were seated, no one brought menus until I finally reminded them, and then they forget about us and didn’t take our order until I went to tell them we were ready.
Then they forgot our drink and when our food finally came, it was wrong and underwhelming. I ordered the eggs in a pan “over easy” with a side of bacon, but they came scrambled—and they forgot my side of bacon. The food itself was bland and tasteless, even after adding a lot of salt. I was taking my daugher out to celebrate making honor roll and her kids’ French toast was soggy and she barely touched it. It ended up not being the special treat I had hoped for sadly.
I really wanted to love this place after hearing so many great things, but the food and service just didn’t live up to the hype—especially at $15 for a tasteless plate of eggs and potatoes not even prepared as I ordered and missing part of the order. We ended up just paying and leaving most of our food there in the styrofoam boxes they served it in. I’m giving 2 stars, which is generous, only because I understand how hard the storms have been on local businesses, but I truly hope they can get back to the level everyone raves about.

The servers were amazing and were very kind. The manager/host was very greeting and kept coming to our table to make sure we were doing good. The food is delicious and affordable, and the serving portions are generous for $7 only. It was my friends 18th birthday and they gave us a free pastry with a candle as well. The environment was great. The kitchen is very quick and we waited for our food for maybe 10-15 minutes. If you’re in the area you must stop by.

We absolutely love frog pond. Jon is our favorite waiter. We’ve known him for years. The food is amazing. The hangover omelette is very tasty with great portions. My husband got the Crab Benedict and loved it. Make sure to get the froggy grits and the strawberry jelly! We’ll always be coming back here for the food, but most importantly to see Jon. Next time will probably be with our baby boy… coming soon!
