I love the Bingsoo here, the portion for the price is great. The service is also great! The owner is very attentive.
A regular size is good for two people. There’s plenty of tables, although they’re shared with the other restaurant in the dining area. It’s located inside the grocery store.

Their bingsoo and taiyakis are the best. The taiyaki here has a special taste and it’s very good. There are lots of flavors that sound nice but my favorites are nutella, custard, and cheese bomb. The bingsoos are really tasty too. Their shaved ice is sweet by itself so any flavor u choose will be good. The place is located inside the supermarket and the workers are soso nice and skilled. I 100% recommend this place if you like sweet desserts and want to try some korean food!!!

If you’re looking for the best Boonguh Bbang (Korean fish-shaped pastry, similar to Taiyaki) in the U.S., look no further than BingSoo House in La Palma! Tucked inside the Super 1 Mart food court, this hidden gem consistently delivers fresh, made-to-order Boonguh Bbang that is perfectly crispy on the outside and generously filled on the inside.

I ordered the Black Sesame and Red Bean & Cream Cheese—both were absolutely delicious and rich in flavor. You can really taste the quality and care they put into every pastry. Honestly, I had Boonguh Bbang from Sul & Beans in Rowland Heights last month, and it wasn’t even close in comparison—BingSoo House blows it out of the water.

I used to come here every other week when I lived in the OC. The easy parking, great grocery shopping, and affordable prices make it a fantastic spot to stop by for dessert or a quick treat after errands.

Whether you’re a fan of Korean desserts or trying Boonguh Bbang for the first time, you won’t be disappointed!

The Mango Bingsoo was alright. The snow didn’t hold up very well & became slushy fairly quickly. The mango slices were nice and thin, but I think they are kept in a liquid because they were glossy.

We also got 2 Taiyakis, which is the minimum requirement to purchase. The texture is different from what we’re used to. The fillings were good, though!

Bingsoo House is located inside the Super 1 Mart towards the left side of the store as you walk in.

the lady running the place is so sweet, so i got pretty hyped for the black sesame bingsoo… it didn’t hit. the sesame powder was like raw sugar with a grey tint, very gritty and sweet than rich-nutty black sesame, so it felt like i was munching on sweet sand. the injeolmi was stale, but the shaved milk was lovely—smooth, milky, not too sweet, so maybe just get another bingsoo flavour..

Greeted by the most kind lady! Love the customer service already. She is very friendly and kind! We ordered the chocolate and strawberry bingsoo with cheese bomb and nutella taiyaki. Bingsoos are not overly sweet, just the perfect amount. The taiyakis are also freshly made and piping hot that goes perfect with the bingsoos. Highly recommend! Hidden gem!

I came across this place inside supermarket, and found fresh and delicious shaved ice as well as warm and delicious taiyaki dessert. Friendly staff and prompt, courteous service. Spacious place to sit and dig into the shaved ice. I particularly enjoyed the soybean power and red bean flavor. Taiyaki satisfied my craving for dessert.

I found this spot after poking around on the internet a bit in search of Taiyaki/Bungeoppang/붕어빵. I can’t find any real (not croissant style) 붕어빵 in the SF South Bay area and have been dreaming about it for far too long, so when in Rome (or SoCal)…

This little cafe is located inside of the Super 1 Mart on the left hand side when you walk in.

I came in pretty shortly after they had opened, a gentleman at the counter very kindly did not tell me “no” or ask me to leave when I asked for one of each flavor (red bean, green tea, custard and Nutella).

These fish… Wow. They were fresh and piping hot and full of their respective fillings. Each flavor was absolutely delicious. The custard was pleasantly not overly sweet which complimented the pancake well, the Nutella was so gooey and fragrant, the red bean was just sweet enough and so classic feeling, and the green tea was light, sweet and one of my favorites. The batter itself was fluffy, chewy, sweet and spongey.

Each fish was just $2, they were made right there and the wait was nothing. I feel so fulfilled. Both physically and emotionally. I probably cried while eating them. Most likely. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

고맙습니다! 붕어빵 정말 맛있어요~
