I think this is my favorite Korean restaurant I’ve been to in moco. I liked everything I had, starting with their banchan, with the highlights being the kimchi, the potato and the fish cake. We ordered the BBQ Combo C, which included pork belly and ribeye. Both were very flavorful on their own and paired perfectly with the lettuce wraps, rice, and dipping sauces.

I have found a lot of times restaurants more focusing on BBQ fall short in the rest of the menu. But it was not the case here, as the cold noodles and cod stew were also delicious. We will definitely be back. Recommend!

Really authentic Korean cuisines, they have huge menu selections, BBQ and other dishes. It came with lots of delicious cold appetizers! They even have the special marinade raw crab, absolutely delicious, just have to prepare some probiotics afterwards.

I picked up 3 orders of dinner from Hwa Gae Jan Tuh today and they did such a lousy job for packaging the food. When I got home and opened them, they all were leaked. I decided to call them to let them know what happened and advise them to do better on packaging next time. However, their response was instead of being sorry for what have happened, but to blame at me for not being careful carrying the food home. Not only their service was terrible, the person who answered the phone was even worse. For the Food itself, I give one star as well because it has too much MSG taste. I regret that I paid over $60 for these crappy food and service.

Amazing Korean food with huge portions and authentic flavors! The dishes were fresh, delicious, and came with plenty of banchan. The jajangmyeon here is absolutely delicious! The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the black bean sauce is rich, savory, and full of flavor. If you’re craving authentic and satisfying jajangmyeon, this place is a must-try!

Great cozy and authentic Korean Restaurant, the Jajangmyeon tasted amazing, the noodles tasted hand-pulled, the samgae-tang tasted great with salt on the side if you needed it. The side dishes were also amazing, loved their salad dressing and fish tofu.

Don’t ever come here to eat! Especially if you’re a foreigner. As soon as they find out you’re not Korean, they’ll change the ingredients in your food and serve you cabbage instead of meat. I have eaten Korean food many times before and have been to Korea. But at this restaurant, I didn’t know what kind of food I was going to eat. I actually ordered the most famous Korean dish, jeyuk bugim. My family wanted to have a Korean meal for a weekend dinner, but instead of spicy pork dumplings, they brought me 7 small pork slices with various vegetables and spices. I wondered if I had misread my order, but she replied that jeyuk bugim was like that. I didn’t recognize the dish that I had eaten a thousand times before. And they said wouldn’t charge for jeyuk bugim because i returned, but still over charge for jeyuk OMG.

I like their Jjampong and kimchi. I usually get the same takeout from here at least once a month. This is the only Korean restaurant where I don’t like the seafood pancake. The flavor is fine, but the texture of the pancake is very different from other restaurants.

The only thing that was good was a side salad. Very pricey. Korean bbq portion per person was small compared to other Korean bbq restaurants. Terrible service. There were only three servers on a busy Saturday evening when the entire restaurant was packed. I would rather drive to VA to get Korean food.

Korean Restaurant with ample menu and quality food that is genuinely Korean that tastes like home (versus fusion). I usually get bbq here (priced per portion) and the quality of the meats is superior than an AYCE place. The side dishes are also more higher quality and tastier than the chain AYCE restaurants. Ex, Korean raisin & potato salad, spicy seaweed salad, tasty fermented radish, and marinated bean sprouts. The service staff are very nice and cook your bbq at the table. I usually provide at least a 20% tip when I order bbq as they are literally cooking the meat at your table and provide side dish refills. There are also non BBQ standalone dishes and soups. I like their Kimchi stew as it hits home with ample ingredients. They also have non spicy stews such as dumpling and rice cake soup. I also like that they serve hot barley tea vs. just iced water. If you are adventurous they have soy sauce marinated raw crab which is a delicacy. They also have Korean Chinese staples such as Jjajangmyun black bean noodles or TangSuYook sweet and sour pork.

This seems to be a “real Korean” restaurant. There is a menu full of interesting choices. There is a lot of food with whatever option you choose. I went for lunch. There was a “lunch special.” But, there wasn’t anything special about the lunch menu prices. It was priced like any of the dishes on the regular menu. The service was nothing special as well. There were some older ladies working there who greeted me enthusiastically. But, they mostly disappeared after that. I reviewed the menu and waited longer than I wanted to place my order. I kept it simple with a Bibimbap. I’ve had many in my life. This one was OK. I’ve had better. It came with a bowl of rice and four (4) Banchan. Banchan are side dishes of vegetables. Those were good. I like the idea of Banchan. I ate my food. No one came to ask me if it was good, or if I needed anything. I finished and waited for too long for the bill. Finally, I stood up and signaled to one of the ladies. I didn’t want to wait any longer. I got my coat and walked over to the cash register. I really did not think that a tip was deserved. I would go back to try some other things.
