John and Jenny at Jane’s Bridgeview Bistro are absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome and taken care of. Their attention to detail, friendly personalities, and genuine passion for what they do truly set them apart. The service was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they really care about their guests and love being part of this place. Jane’s Bridgeview Bistro is lucky to have them—I’ll definitely be back again and again thanks to John and Jenny!

The good: They did a nice job with the aesthetics, clean bathrooms finally. Servers were very friendly. Food was good.

Could use some work: The service was very slow. Took almost 45 minutes to get our food and the restaurant was only half full at most. Very cold where we were sitting. It was 32° outside but we were basically eating in our jackets and our hands were getting cold as they need to turn up the heat. Was told they couldn’t do anything about it.

I am very much pulling for this place as there’s really no breakfast competition in the area.

Went with a friend for breakfast and food was tasty, however it took 45 minutes to get it and they were not overly busy. Restaurant was so cold; we and another couple both asked if they could turn the heat up and were told it was as warm as they could make it because the thermostat was locked. Couldn’t wait to get back to the car to warm up. Sadly not planning to go back due to both issues.

Stopped in for dinner after a day of fishing!
Everything we ordered was fabulous. Cappuccinos were great, fish cooked perfectly, and the lemon chicken was delicious. Waitress, Chef and Owner were all super kind and checked in on my husband and I. We were even treated to complementary dessert. 10/10 Will definitely be visiting again when we come out this way.

We went at noon and were able to still get breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly One of our party had the sliders and someone had the turkey club. Both Said they were great.. The turkey club had generous meat and fresh tomato and lettuce! Fast service.. Reasonable. We will be back soon to try the dinners

Excited to try the rebrand, as the new menu looked great and we had heard decent things…. however, our experience was no different than the original Boat Town. Waited a long time to be greeted, waited a long time for food. Food came out wrong and our server never came to check on anything. Honestly, not a great experience…. Slow and inattentive service, food was not good. We tried it with high hopes, however, we won’t be back.

American fries weren’t consistently cooked, some undercooked, some burnt. Eggs Benedict was lukewarm and bland. Waitress seemed to be preoccupied with other things. Exterior pounding due to construction work on the restaurant. Temperature of the interior seemed to be under 60 degrees. Was there for breakfast, maybe dinner is better, I will never know

This place is a hidden GEM! The staff was so friendly, food was amazing (one of the best lemon chicken I’ve had) and the desserts are like a little taste from Italy (limoncello gelato was so good). I will definitely be back because everything on the menu sounded amazing.
