If you’re not from Defiance OH and looking for a great Chinese meal please stop in at China Garden in Defiance OH. Meal portions are large, pricing is average, and the staff is great. We had Sizzling Beef & Basil Chicken. The Basil Chicken was awesome! The Basil is what makes this so good. All flavors in dish. Spicy and tasty!

I got carryout from China Garden today, and as I walked up to the storefront I immediately saw a sign that they were hiring (this is something that greets patrons frequently these days, and unfortunately, is often a precursor to lacking customer service and satisfaction). However, my experience was anything but subpar. The service was wonderful, the people were friendly and attentive, and the food was out in about 5 minutes. Everything was in the bag as ordered, cooked perfectly, and tasted fantastic! Thank you for continuing to serve Defiance so well, despite staffing difficulties. You’re doing a great job!

Absolutely ranicd. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and my wife ordered the fried pork pieces. Also two egg rolls. It was over 45 dollars! Not including a tip. Absolute rip off. We also ordered water.
The mongolian beef smelled disgusting, like old green onion. The beef was off tasting, and flavorless. For some reason they add some noodles to this dish, which made it even more weird, and gross. My wife’s fried pork pieces were wayyy to salty. The pork tasted off/old, and was covered up by the batter in an attempt to hide the disgusting taste. The egg rolls were over cooked, and cheap tasting.
All in all its cheap quality food, MSG loaded, flavorless, and extremely overpriced. They have the building decorated family, and from looks it appears to be a decent sit down chinese restaurant. Don’t be fooled, you’ll leave with an upset stomach, and feeling like you got ripped off. You will regret it, trust me.

I got takeout ginger garlic shrimp, white rice, crab rangoon, and hot and sour soup.
The taste of the food was fine. The crab rangoons were drab.
Fast service. Large portions.
Takeout silverware didn’t include a spoon. The sauce for the crab rangoon was not good.

This is just an amazing hole in the wall place that Is a diamond in the ruff. We were there for a weekend graduation party for our niece. Thought why not try it my sister said she really liked it. We went portions were huge like 3 meals in 1 huge. They were so friendly they refilled drinks quickly just over all great experience. We picked up take out with them the next night. Also plenty of setting tables and booths. Little pricey but so much food for the price well worth it. The only thing we didn’t care for was the lo mein not very much flavor at all. But broc and beef, gen tos, emperor chicken the best thing ever, Mongolian beef so good, egg rolls great, wonton soup and egg drop soup both top tier

It started with Russ who is a diamond in the rough. He was an outstanding waiter. Then the food was expedient and delicious. The process was on point. We received our drinks then the appetizers. As soon as we were done with our apps we were served our soups, as soon as we were done with our soups the entrees came out. Perfect timing. Also the amount of food we received for the price was amazing. Love it. All of it!!!!
