Food is very authentic. Having lived in and traveled to Thailand and Laos, this takes me back every time. Laab is my go-to favorite dish and it never disappoints. Very good flavor in this dish.
10/10 would recommend for the food.
Service I put 3/5 because I feel checking in at the table can be a little more frequent. Found ourselves waiting for drink refills, check, and general check-in’s longer than expected. Also going 4/5 because when placing an order over the phone, staff who answered (maybe this is a one-off situation) just said “Hello?” as if they weren’t sure who/why someone would be calling and I had to confirm I called the right place. Staff all-around is very kind though.
Don’t let that deter you. This place brings the flavor.

Laan Thai has always been one of our go to spots for tasty Thai food, the flavors are consistently delicious and satisfying. However, during our recent visit, we noticed a few things that were disappointing. The prices have gone up, yet the portions / the actual contents seem smaller than before. While the food still tastes great, the value feels less than it used to.
Another concern is the cleanliness of the dining area. The floor was noticeably dirty, and the tables and chairs felt a bit greasy, which took away from the overall dining experience.
We still appreciate the flavors Laan Thai offers, but we hope the restaurant will address the portion sizes and cleanliness to bring the experience back to the level we’ve enjoyed in the past.

Laan Thai is a very comfortable place to eat. That’s simple nice interior with low lighting a nice Thai stule decorations. The staff was very friendly and easy to interact with.
The food impressed me as very high quality, and the flavors were excellent. I was very impressed with the presentation and everything was cooked perfectly. I really liked all the different flavors of vegetables made sauce egg rolls, etc. I would definitely come back here again. This is not a bargain Thai place, though.

1 of the 4 items we ordered was good.
Steak dish was supposed to be ribeye but was all Gristle. Ordered steak medium rare, came out like leather, server didn’t seem to care when being addressed regarding the quality of the dish. Kitchen staff need to learn to cut with the grain of the meat.
There was a blue string in the rice.
The picture is day two take home from the south Logan location. Broke up the rice and found the string.
Asked for service, and staff seemed more concerned with loitering by the reception counter in front.
We would not recommend the south Logan-Laan Thai location, they don’t seem to care, food quality and service needs to improve.
At the North Logan-Laan Thai location all dishes are excellent.

Sooooo good!!! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is so sophisticated and classy. The service was great, the waiters were super nice and chatty. We had the laab, pineapple curry, and the shrimp spring rolls. You have to try the laab!! Its Soo good! I will definitely come back soon.

Laan Thai offers a deliciously dizzying array of amazing dishes. Each visit I am faced with a dilemma. Do I stick with what the culinary delight that brought my taste buds such great joy on my last visit or do I adventure and try something new? I always win either way and my only complaint is that I am physically constrained from eating more. Do yourself a favor and go try Laan Thai. It is one of the most delightful gastronomical experiences in Cache Valley.

We like Thai but we are wimps with the hot spice. We got 0 spice and my wife thought it was still too hot. I was fine with a spice of one. Food is really good otherwise.

The service and atmosphere was very nice. My gripe is with the food and value for price. The food is not delicious enough for the price and my carry out order was incorrect. I think maybe the price would reflect sit down service if the food was of higher quality because the restaurant atmosphere is nice, I just didn’t feel that the care was there for the takeout meal i ordered, particularly the cucumber salad. it was quite a ridiculous price for half a cucumber on iceberg lettuce.

Terrible. I got the yellow curry and it was basically just a bowl of onion soup. Way overpriced at $20. Do yourself a favor and go to the Thai House. Much better food and much better prices. OR if you’re just looking for Southeastish Asian food, there is an amazing Indian restaurant Tandori Oven.
