The food was great! I’m new to the area, and I’ve been on the hunt for vegan restaurants. This place was amazing, the portions were large, and I can’t wait to come back! We ordered the kale salad and the hummus platter, highly recommend!

A cute cozy spot with delicious food and friendly service! I ordered half soup & half salad – Moroccan Chickpea Spinach & Kale & Kale Caesar. Everything was DELICIOUS! Make sure to get Kombucha too! Will definitely be coming back!

Don’t let the photo fool you—this thing is ridiculously good. The beet patty is rich and satisfying, and the pretzel bun? Absolute perfection. Soft, chewy, with that golden crust and just the right amount of salt. The fresh spinach adds a nice crunch, and the chips with dip on the side round it out like a proper meal. Hippie Chick Hummus seriously knows how to do plant-based right. If you’re anywhere near this place, make it a priority.

Adorable vegan Cafe in downtown Frederick. Friendly staff and a fun variety of menu options. Kombucha on tap and delicious smoothies! Note: smoothies are very thick consistency and only a few available flavor choices, but very tasty nonetheless. Minimal seating offered inside and out, but they do have a couple of picnic tables on the back patio. The mushroom gyro, Buffalo “chicken” wrap, and taco salad were absolutely delicious!! Bonus Points for sustainability.

My girlfriend and I love love Hippy Chuck Hummus! Although we live in Richmond, when we drive north for festivals, this is our favorite place to stop on the road. You can’t go wrong with anything on my menu, but today I got the quinoa hummus wrap and a cookie. They’re both amazing! I wish there were more Hippie Chick Hummuses on the road for us vegans!
