Attended the soft opening of their new location on Dixie today. I had never eaten at their previous location before, so I was excited to try it and wasn’t disappointed! The food was fresh, delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried catfish, mac and cheese, fried cabbage, and peach cobbler. Excited for once they officially open so I can go back and eat more of their fried cabbage!

Soul food so good. Fish was awesome and macncheese was delicious as was the fried cabbage. My family had the ribs. They loved everything too. I’d stop in just for the Mac and cheese myself it was so good.

The food and service was amazing! To begin the service was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful on making decisions about what to eat. We tried a little of everything on the menu. The pot roast was delicious, the catfish was even better and it was cooked to order. There was less than a minute wait and we dined in. The cornbread was perfect and the sweet potatoes were delicious as well. Everything was fresh, hot and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back soon and I recommend 10 / 10.

Tried to celebrate my sisters birthday at a new restaurant and the experience was one to remember because it was awful. Waited 45 minutes just to order, then as the food comes out, we had the server who clearly was having a bad day and just slammed my mother in law’s food on the table. Wings were dry and not fresh, Mac and cheese was bad and green beans were worse. Have zero intention of ever attending here again.

10 out of 10 must recommend. This reminds me of a plate from a church revival. This food is the essence of southern cooking. The food smelled so good I could not wait to get home. I literally took my to go plates and ate them in the restaurant.

Stopped by Daddy Vic’s to order carry out for Sunday dinner around 5pm. It wasn’t crowded, they have ample seating for dining in, and sometimes there’s a live performer but at the time I came, they had nice music playing. Although nice good music, if u are sitting near the performer, the music can be a bit loud. It’s set up like a buffet style hot table, and u tell them what you’d like. If you’re order fish, the server told me that’s made to order. I ordered pot roast, greens, and mac and cheese for $14.75, but they charge $.50 extra for take out. The portions were sufficient, especially for the price point. The pot roast was so excellent. The greens and mac&cheese were good as well but could’ve used a tad more seasoning. Everyone was so pleasant, I’ll definitely return

This place was absolutely delicious! We ordered the oxtails entree. I believe the sweet tea is homemade, it was so refreshing. The customer service was excellent! It was a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all smiles and friendly.

Me and my boyfriend just ate here and can’t stop talking about how good it was. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Best fried fish I’ve had in Louisville!!!! The Mac and cheese is to die for. Literally everything was amazing. The service was great, the owner and staff were very attentive and super nice. Make sure you get the lemonade and peach cobbler for dessert! We will definitely be returning!!!!

Nice family own buffet, Quick service yummy fried chicken and friendly employees, if you are in this area and likes southern food and your time is limited this is what you need. Don’t forget to try their cornbread. They have plenty of parking spot and good amount of indoor tables.
