This is a very good restaurant suitable for Caribbean people fast moving people who are looking for fast food. This is a very nice restaurant. They have all types of food for you. Everybody have to come and check out. It is located on Jamaica, Queens, New York, United States of America they are very hot food very spicy and lots of spicy mild all types of food it is available. It is easy for everybody. It is very close to the shopping area Jamaica Avenue and it is located on the bus area so for everybody it is very good location.

I came here on 2/9 to pick up some soul food. I ordered the large dinner platter which came with one protein and two sides. I ordered the ribs with mac & cheese and yams. It was absolutely delicious, I don’t even like yams that much but the yams were so delicious. The ribs were tender and juicy, and the mac & cheese was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend coming here whenever you’re craving some soul food.
Just keep in mind that parking is really difficult. There is a parking garage next door though.

Let me first start off by saying I didn’t want to leave a negative review tonight. I have been patronizing Queens Soul Food Caterers since they first opened about a year ago. I spend around $100+ each time I go. Their food has been pretty consistently delicious. But tonight?!? They played themselves. I ordered THREE PIECE fried catfish meal and when I got home there were only TWO pieces of fish. I also ordered a small Smothered Porkchop meal. This man gave me literally ONE SCOOP of candied yams and mac and cheese with a single Porkchop and charged me $15!! I was beyond disappointed because I really want them to be great. I was so upset that I called the restaurant and was told that they only had 2 pieces of catfish left, so that’s what he gave me. Smdh. They are skimping and being cheap with the portions. I’ve been here enough times to see this same guy do this before. This place has great potential. But if they keep this up it’ll be their undoing. DO BETTER QUEENS SOULFOOD CATERERS!

I’m originally from Texas and this is the CLOSEST to traditional southern cooking I’ve probably ever had outside of the South. Staff was super kind & helpful, food was insanely good, 10/10. Everything tastes homemade & like it was made with love. Would recommend the meatloaf, mac & cheese, & smothered turkey. Go support!

I’ve been to this place many times. The food was great when I first started going there. Now the last three times that I have been there,The food has been disgusting at first I thought it was just a mistake, but this is the third time that the food has been the same way. The grease taste like it hasn’t been changed in months. I ordered two Fish, shrimp, and fries dinners I always ordered the same thing from there this time and the two times before taste like the grease has not been changed. I called them to explain to them what tasted funny about my Food and they hung up on me. I’m not sure if they are under new management or not but they need to go back to the old way

Omg… I ordered them on UberEats. BBQ Turkey wings with greens and plantain and Beef Ribs with Mac and Yams. I couldn’t wait to dig into the BBQ Turkey wings. Chef’s Kiss. The most tender turkey wings I’ve ever had in NYC. Couldn’t get the photo fast enough before I damn near devoured the wing. Greens and plantain were spectacular. The Beef ribs were just as tender. Complete fall off the bone tender. Mac and Yams were spectacular also. Hands down, a must try if in the mood for good home cooking. Nothing was over salted like some other places. Everything seasoned very well.

This place started off great food would be fresh & good now it seems it did a complete 360 unfortunately I stopped coming here for a few months cause the food became old and dry looking which is fine and expected but the top it off the staff was barehanded grabbing food, so I gave them a few months to get their act together. Hoping for the best I returned a few months later and telling the female staff why I stopped coming she said “no no no in her Jamaican accent”we use gloves” to please return that won’t happen again so I been coming back frequently, but again last night she did a relapse of not using gloves once again. I told her I try my best to support black businesses but if you’re gonna continue to do so I won’t be coming back here and all my coworkers I told about this place we will find other places to go for lunch I just can’t understand why restaurant owners can’t get it right. I mean times are hard doesn’t this restaurant pay your bills your rent at him for your kids lively hood? So many businesses open and close down wouldn’t u want to do right to stay a float then when I bring up the topic of not using gloves you go full attitude mode? It’s a little drive but 4 those who want great soul food with a great attitude go to Katie’s soul food in bklyn not this place save your money food is always fresh Katie and her staff is always polite you can’t go wrong it’s gonna take a miracle for me to come back to this place to support it!!!

I recently placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. When I got home, I realized one of my meals was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the employee I spoke with told me I would need to come back to pick up the missing item.
I explained that the store is quite far from my home and that I had walked there, so returning would be very inconvenient. I asked if I could be compensated in some way for the mistake, but the employee said no and insisted I could only come back for what i ordered. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was met with rudeness and no apology for the error.
This was a disappointing experience, both because of the missing item and the lack of courtesy or effort to make the situation right. I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service and ensure mistakes are handled with more care in the future.

When I tell you that the food here is a 20/20. Everything is seasoned perfectly, there are so many options that you cannot go wrong with your choice. I had the pork BBQ ribs, Mac n cheese & collard greens and when I say it was so good, I almost went into a food coma while eating it. Nikki was so amazing and gave us samples of things we wanted to try since it was our first time there and listen, I’ll be back.
