All the slices we tried were solid! The crust is crispy on the bottom with a nice chew. Red sauce has a nice tartness. Each slice was garnished well and flavors well balanced. Lots of great options and the space is well appointed.
Will definitely come back regularly!

Brilliant flavors! I haven’t had many of these on a pizza before. The dough is great; even if you get a slice from the top or bottom, the dough is tasty enough that you don’t feel the lack of toppings. The tomato pie is deceptively flavorful. I might leave off the cacio e pepe, as it’s similar to the crispy Parmesan in that it’s a white pie. I’d love another vegetarian flavor like leeks nuts and cheese for example. Pics are of the flavor descriptions, forgot to take pics of the pie.

I really enjoyed this place and the spin on being as far as I’m aware, the first Roman style pizza place in Seattle. They have large pies (pizza pies) displayed and you tell them how much to cut and that’s your slice they reheat. I got a half a pound of the Brooklyn (pepperoni, sausage, and after bake ricotta, grated Parmesan, peppers and onion), and half a pound of the Aged White Mozzarella (aged mozzarella, garlic base, and after bake chili flakes). It was more than enough. Next time I’ll do a quarter pound of each.
I met the owner Forest there who was hanging out with his dope curled mustache, red converse, and black dress shirt, and he was quite polite. I gave him a suggestion about the after bake mentioning in parentheses the ingredients that are after bake to make it more clear on the card.
Brooklyn
This pizza like all their pizza is Roman style which is like having pizza on fluffy focaccia bread. Quite airy but I really enjoyed the Brooklyn. The pepperoni cups and sausage had good bite, the cheese and sauce was tasty and not too tangy, and the ricotta was whipped appropriately and added a cool finish. I’d definitely get this again.

White Aged Mozzarella
This pizza alone should have been a winner but the chili flakes they put on after is too much for my own preferences. I loved the spice of the sauce and flavor profile but the flakes were too big and took away from the pizza’s core of mozzarella and garlic sauce. So a simple fix is asking for ez flakes I’d imagine next time. Because it does add to the pizza but it’s just too much. If this is the only way the pizza comes and you can’t modify the flakes or remove them entirely the rating would sit lower at:

Lemon Granita
A shaved lemon ice drink. Would be awesome for summer. Very acidic and hot the vibrant lemon notes quite well without being too sour. It’s like an icee lemonade. And they give you a ton in the cup.
8/10
I’d definitely return and try some of the other pies or a redo of the Aged Mozzarella with less flakes if able. Couldn’t tell you if they make custom pizzas to go. Maybe? Because of the Aged Mozzarella it evens out the score a little lower.
Overall,
7/10⭐

Went to the soft opening yesterday. This pizza and drinks are great and definitely have the potential to land in my top 10 for the whole city. I am especially fond of the bolognese flavor. I am excited to come back soon once they get into the groove of being open!

Went to the soft opening last night and enjoyed a free pizza, so I can’t speak to the price, however what I can attest to is the overall quality and flavor of the pies. My girlfriend and I tried the spicy boar, the Brooklyn, and the hot white slices. The spicy boar pizza was one of the more flavorful pizzas, I have had in recent years without being too overwhelmingly spicy. The Brookylyn was a nice meatier slice with pepperoni, sausage, and peppers. Lastly, the white hot was an interesting slice due to it’s crispy chili peppers and hot oil. Fun tip: adding the extra chili crisps and hot oil to the other pies, really intensified the flavors. They also had a number of vegan and vegetarian options to try! My girlfriend and I both agreed that we would return whenever we are in the area again.

We tried 4 of their pizzas and really enjoyed all of them. Our favorite was the Brooklyn which had pepperoni, sausage, and peppers. Their variety combined with being able to choose how much you want makes it really easy to try quite a few options. Paired with a glass of wine, this made for a lovely night out.

New spot on Capitol Hill serving Roman-style pizza slices at the counter, priced by weight. Going through a few first-day technical jitters (eg no tap-to-pay) but those should be resolved. Pizza crust was fantastic and the flavors were delectable. Only wish they served them a little hotter, but that’s something you can easily ask for. Very affordable, beware that the pizza is more filling than meets the eye!

Roma Roma Pizza is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, taking over the former Rachel’s Ginger Beer spot on 12th Avenue.
The pizza is priced by weight and cut to your preferred slice size, which makes it fun and easy to try multiple options. Each slice is finished with its toppings after cutting, and the focaccia-style sourdough crust (two versions depending on the pizza) is absolutely delicious.
Bonnie helped me choose a great variety, and every slice was outstanding and brought something unique to the menu. Highly recommend the Brooklyn, Spicy Boar Bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, White Hot, and Patatas Bravas.
The Negroni was excellent, and Bonnie provided exceptionally thoughtful service – refilling my water before I even noticed, bringing extra napkins, checking in at just the right times, and providing great recs that meet my tastes while walking me through the process.
The space is also beautiful, with orange, blue, and green tones, lots of plants, and great natural light during the day. The vibes are immaculate and perfect for a stop in or chatting for hours.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Seattle. Definitely worth checking out especially as they continue grow their menu!

Best pizza place of its price range on Capitol Hill, not even a contest. Wayyyy better ambiance then competing establishments. The whole vibe and the menu made it legit feel like a casual pizzeria in Rome. I’m going to be a regular here…
