We recently visited La Vita Coffee and Burger Vibe on Washington Avenue and honestly loved it so much.
It’s such a unique concept with New York style burgers and bagels, Italian coffee, smoothies, and gelato all in one place. I had the strawberry gelato and it literally tasted like a strawberry milkshake. It was so creamy and flavorful. My husband got the cheesy bacon fries and they were really good too. We were too full to try the burgers this time but the prices looked super affordable. We also grabbed half a dozen bagels to enjoy this week and they look amazing.
You can truly feel that this is a family owned business. The space is big and welcoming and the owners are so kind. It just feels personal and genuine in a way that’s hard to find.
The only challenge is the location since Washington is busy and parking takes some intention, but it is absolutely worth the stop. We’re already planning to go back and try more. Please go support them. It’s a special spot.

Don’t let the ridiculous parking keep you from visiting La Vita Coffee. We stopped in on a whim and are better for it. The coffee and muffins were tasty and hit just right. Not to mention the wonderful young lady at the counter, amazing smile and friendly! We will be back.

Move to Houston two years ago, hands-down, the best burger in Houston. Low-key spot you wouldn’t expect to find a type of food. The best thing is that he has amazing espresso and he makes amazing hard drinks, including Italian hot chocolate that my wife and kids enjoyed, I got a macchiato which was really good. The place is extremely family friendly, especially for kids.

The food, drinks, service and atmosphere is 10/10. I came with my mother and friends and we all got different items to try a little bit of everything. Nothing disappointed. What a fantastic and unique concept. The Dubai Chocolate Frappe was delicious for someone who’s not a fan of chocolate. Thank you to Alex for the kind recommendations.

This is a gem, great customer service! I love the taste of coffee but I can’t have caffeine at the moment. Ordered a hot macchiato and it’s so good. I recommend this place to anyone that wants an actual cafe feel. It feels like I’m on the set of friends 10/10. BTW pricing is great too, avoid Starbucks if you’re in the area, it’s a disservice to skip out on this place!

We ordered four different burgers and every single one was incredibly delicious honestly some of the best we’ve had! The drinks were just as impressive: the tropical matcha, Dubai chocolate frapp, chai with pistachio, and the flat white were all perfect. Everything, truly everything, was delicious. The place itself is pretty available. There’s not much foot-traffic, but the burgers are 10/10! The chai is sooooo delicious. It has a thick consistency if iced. The Dubai chocolate frappe hits you with a kick of pistachio goodness. After a while it does water down and it looses its flavor but that initial slurp is definitely will be coming back to try other burgers and other beverages

The burgers here are really delicious! The meat is nice and flavorful, and the different burgers have unique tastes that blend well together. Fries are crispy and nicely seasoned. Came in hungry and left full and satisfied!
