A coworker and I went here, as we’re in town for business. Right off the bat the bouncer tracks us down as we are at the bar already. The bouncer was probably supposed to check it at the door but was playing pool, just felt awkward to be checked in the center of the bar. The bar tender definitely short handed alcohol as we got 3 seconds best due to the spouts being spotty and bad pours. But even in mixed drinks standard is 1.5oz and we maybe got 1oz , charged $7 a drink. 3 drinks each definitely didn’t feel a thing leaving. $50 later, I feel like I just paid for juice and to watch karaoke.

A bit wilder than my norm but fun no doubt. If going before the band, go early if ya want to sit at bar or better yet get a great seat for band. Place really transforms at 9. HERZ was rocking. Drinks were good. Service was pretty quick considering how crowded it got after 9.

I was driving straight thru from GA to MN & needed to stop & I was pleasantly surprised that Tap Bar & Grill’s hours (unlike quite a few businesses listed on Google Maps) were & are correct…they do thankfully really close at 3AM …Amber, the bartender, was nothin short of a rockstar…along with all the local patrons that were very welcoming to a wandering long-distance driver by freely offering great conversations and lots of laughs…Tap Bar & Grill is THE place to stop and check out whenever you’re in the vicinity of Jackson, TN!

Was in the area and actually went 2, I had an issue the first time and had the same issue the 2nd time. The same bartender was there. The first night, I was asked to put my card on file and happily abliged. I had myself and a co-worker on the tab. We only drank Mich Ultra that night. Somehow how we had 31 shots on our tab and multiple other drinks. I calculated our tab what it should have been, and it should have been $42.68. Our tab that night was over $400. Be cautious, which bartender takes care of you here. We went back the second night hoping for better because of the band, and the same thing happened again, same bartender. Be cautious!

This is by far a real bar atmosphere where the genuine people that actually care about your well being and safety. Justin is a top notch no nonsense bartender that is efficient and has a personality that shows he cares for his customers and the safe environment they are in. The owner is a beautiful soul that has a no nonsense attitude and can read a crowd of patrons providing the perfect blend of entertainment and leisure.
I can’t wait to go back…
