If you want a spot to slow down and enjoy some solid comfort food, Danny’s Italian Pizza & Beef is where you want to be. I grabbed a slice of their sausage pizza, some fries, and a drink and the pizza honestly stole the show.
The crust was exactly how I like it, crispy on the edges but still soft and chewy inside, not that cardboard-thin or overly thick kind. What really stood out was that the crust actually had flavor. So many places just give you plain, bland dough, but here you can taste a bit of that toasted, slightly yeasty goodness, which made each bite better.
The sauce had a subtle sweetness to it, just enough to balance the savory sausage and melty cheese without overpowering anything. The sausage was well-seasoned, not greasy, with little bits of herbs and spices that gave it a nice kick. The cheese was perfectly melted and golden on top, pulling everything together.
And the fries? Man, those fries were golden, crispy, and piping hot, the perfect side to round out the meal. They weren’t greasy or soggy at all, just classic fries done right.
Overall, this meal hit that comfort food sweet spot, simple, satisfying, and perfect for winding down after a busy day. Definitely planning to go back for that pizza and fries combo again soon.

Visiting from Texas and this place was so inviting and the food was outstanding. The gentleman at the counter was patient and kind and helped me with the menu. I ended up getting the Pasta Paisano and it was soooooo delicious and I had enough for lunch and dinner. Well worth the $21

Check photos , not even the pepperoni was heated enough to cook or curl.
Guys are always in and out trying to watch a soccer game and rushing an order. That’s the first bad start to entering.
Have had their pizzas months ago so stopped by for a quick slice. Big mistake and disgusting. My wife went in for me otherwise I would’ve been able to look at the pale slices and known they were there for over an ol hour at least. So long there was barely any sauce and the sauce it did have tasted to be from a cheap jar.
Quality was nothing like a year ago, pepperoni seems to be less quality than one from aldis and their cheese was just discolored. Don’t go for their slices. Pizzas are much pricier than a true Chicago pizza so adding to the new taste; I’m done with this place. Will go to a closer and cheaper paisans if I’m driving from that area.

Got myself a “Chicago style hot dog”, (not) hate when a place says Chicago and there are no poppysees on the bun. Dogs don’t come with with fries. Got a slice of pan sausage pizza that was cold and soggy. My friend ordered a burger which was good but they could have heated up the pizza while we waited for the burger. The mozzarella sticks were very bland and the sauce had a weird taste to it. Not a good overall experience. Not what it was when I lived around the corner a few years ago.

Great experience from the beginning when me and my wife were greeted by Mario. Tacos are amazing. Ordered steak, pastor, carnitas and barbacoa. Will be back to try more.

I had a great time visit and eating the food. Everything is made fresh and the tacos are also the best. I order the chicken nuggets and fries for the kids and the portion we received were amazing.

Pizza was cold and I only live 3 minutes away. I had company and had to heated up in my oven. $30.89 for a cold Pizza. Delivery $7.50 and the driver asked my son for a tip. Don’t order from this place unless you want to get ripped off.

Usual low quality frozen and reheated American/Italian food.
The Mexican food portion is probably fresh, but the other is not.
The pizza tasted like it was a frozen reheated pizza, even if it was not, it was poorly made and low quality ingredients.
They forgot they made my torta as I stood infront of the cashier and manager for 20 minutes until I complained where my food is.
Paid $15 for 1 Torta and a slice of pizza.
Might as well go to McDonalds at these price and quality points and wait times.

Going to be brutally honest here, stopped by for a quick slice after a 13 hr shift which I worked straight through, no lunch. It’s a very common belief that when you are starving, anything tastes amazing. Well this place proved that wrong. I feel bad about giving them such a bad review based off one slice, but most places that have pizza by the slice will pop the slice back into the oven to get it nice, hot and crispy. Specially if it’s been sitting there for God knows how long. The slice was absolutely terrible. Cheese was like plastic, pizza was cold and crust was stale. It’s a bit comical as they state in their sign outside that it was voted best pizza in western suburbs. I seriously doubt it. The place is worn down and looks very dirty, servers don’t look very hygienic either. They might have good pizza if you order a fresh whole one, but in all honesty I wouldn’t be coming back after this experience. Hope they up their game because I know it’s hard to run a small business.
