My boyfriend & I had a reservation at casa Cruz & was highly disappointed. The restaurant was pretty to look at but the food was terrible. Everything from the appetizers to entree was disappointing. No flavor at all. Very tasteless & basic. But to make things worse I had the raw oysters & immediately after leaving the restaurant I got serious stomach pains & nausea, I vomited all over my boyfriend’s car & my fur coat. We had to end our date night early, got home & threw up more, along with stomach pains & diarrhea!! The worst restaurant experience. Not only was the food bad but it made me sick & to top it off it was over priced. I called the restaurant to make a complaint & was told I couldn’t speak to a manager I had to send them an email & hope I get a response. Never again.

Wow, Casa Cruz is stunning—the whole six-story townhouse setup with the art and elegant vibe feels like stepping into something special. The food was excellent all around, but that octopus carpaccio? Seriously a must-try—super tender, fresh, and just melted in my mouth with the olive oil and lemon.

Big thanks to our waitress Melissa—she was funny, on top of everything, and made the evening even better. Great spot, definitely going back!

I recently dined at Casa Cruz in the Upper East Side. The ambience is undeniably beautiful — chic décor, warm lighting, and a glamorous setting that makes a strong first impression. However, the atmosphere felt a bit heavy and formal, which took away from the relaxed dining experience we were hoping for.

I ordered the steak while my husband had the lamb chops. Unfortunately, the food was just average in taste and presentation; not bad, but certainly not memorable. At first, our server even brought the wrong dishes despite the restaurant not being very busy, which was a little surprising.

That said, the service overall was polite, and the restaurant itself is stunning to look at. If you’re going mainly for the interior design and vibe, Casa Cruz is worth seeing. But if you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, it might not fully deliver.

Casa Cruz was not what I expected in the most wonderful way possible. It isn’t just another midtown upscale bar/restaurant based on my assumptions. Casa Cruz is a very well created establishment where every corner of the room was well designed and articulated for its guests. With the perfect atmosphere we felt cozy and sophisticated, the staff members were well coordinated between their uniforms and spectacular services.

We only had light bites at the bar but the focaccia was delightful, the shrimp cocktail was refreshing and fresh, and my French seventy five was just the perfect combination. This has become my favorite midtown restaurant of all times.

My experience at this restaurant was really enjoyable. They have six floors. The style is so chic. Food and service is great. I had duck and pork which were super good and highly recommended

This is my second time at casa Cruz and I will always be honored to eat and enjoy time here. The staff is helpful, kind, and friendly. No place I have been has such a wonderful staff. We were greeted with love, kindness, and respect with no questions. We had the most wonderful waiter named jazz who went above and beyond to make our experience perfect! I brought my parents here to give them a fun experience and they are so grateful for how fantastic everything was. We went to the bar after dinner and were treated fantastically. Not one bad thing to say other than the locks on the bathroom door on floor 3 needs fixing hahahaha! A place I will continue to go again and again. Thank you!

Great experience in a very romantic and great emdecor spot. The food was amazing. The octopus was prob my fave and the steak was ok when they took it back to cook it more. Ordered medium and it was more rare to maybe medium rare at best but they fixed it quick. The lava cake was amazing to finish off the night.

This restaurant was outstanding. From the moment you walk in to the second you leave. The girls at check in took our coats and we walked up a to the bar area while we waiting for our other guest to arrive. The cocktails were extraordinary and the bar was so gorgeous. I love ambiance and this was a 10/10. Then we were escorted via elevator to our dining floor and we were just wowed. The staff was so kind and the food was delicious. We had the branzino, the pasta limone, and cacio e pepe. Everything was outstanding. What really stood out was our waiter. His name was Jazz and went above and beyond to make our dinner special as we were celebrating a birthday for our friend. Jazz was one of the best waiters I’ve had in this city and really elevated our already amazing experience there. Thank you Jazz for taking care of us and hope we see you again.
