I am from Arizona where Mexican food is a religious experience. This is the first time since moving here that I felt this matched the feel and taste of what I grew up with loving. The food was fantastic, the service was quick and the waitress so friendly! It was quite when we entered and some entered while we enjoyed our food. I would hope that this place gets busy as this food is fantastic!! Eat here if you have not already. We will be returning for sure.

We have three Mexican restaurants in my town. This one is probably my most liked one of them. I’m not a big Mexican food fan. This place provides great customer service and a good hot meal. The last time I went, drinks took a little longer to get to us. And some of the product sticker was still on a piece of the orange in my sangria. That didn’t ruin the delicious drink. Just need to pay attention to small details.

Great food and you get more than what you pay for. Serving size is large you won’t go away hungry. Service was also outstanding my drink was kept full all the time along with the chips and salsa. Food tasted great and was prepared perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat. I will be back next time I pass through town.

My husband and I are on the search for the best mexican restaurants in the Urbana-Champaign Savoy. We loved this place and is now one of our favorites. Waiters were very attentive and checked on us multiple times. Food was delicious! My husband got tacos and enchiladas and I got shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce. Chips and salsa were really good. The place wasn’t too crowded but we really enjoyed getting a booth in the least crowded section. The place looked clean. The waiters were very nice at letting my husband practice spanish. The only complain would be that I asked for no cheese or sour cream and they did put cheese on the beans and sour cream on the salad. Regardless we’ll be back soon

Such a pleasant and attentive waitress. The chicken in the enchiladas was cooked perfectly and the verde sauce was delicious. The beans and rice were great as well.
