If l could give no stars l would. The place is dirty inside and out. The manager looks mean and does not speak only points and grunts. Even when l greeted her and said please and thank you she looked even meaner. She didn’t even hand me the container just scooted it roughly over to me, Im thinking what is the matter.The food was nasty and undercooked. I will never go back and suggest you never ever ever go. There are far better Asian places to eat with friendly service. They do not appreciate your patronage. I see why only 2 people were in there. Avoid at all cost the Unhappy Buffet

I love a good buffet, & the Happy Buffet in Liberty, Ohio is one of my go-to’s. It’s located a few minutes from where I live, so it is definitely a convenience. It’s a very spacious restaurant with plenty of tones & booths. The hostess was super friendly & let me choose my table. She then got my drink order and directed me to the buffet. The lunch and dinner buffet are very similar, both offering a great selection of Chinese & American foods. The buffet itself is well maintained by the staff, very clean & well stocked. I have always found the food here very tasty, hot (temperature) & well prepared. I usually make a few trips and get a good selection. I find their dessert selections is very generous, I always finish my dining here with a few tasty treats. I’ve never had a bad experience here, I think if you give it a try, you will definitely enjoy a solid buffet meal.

Be very careful of this place if you’re not planning to leave a tip. They will charge you the regular amount and when u leave, charge you more for tips without your consent when they’re not supposed to and make you go into negative if you don’t have the amount they are trying to take out for tips AFTER you leave the restaurant.Pay cash if you can, to avoid these issues guys ♀️

This is the first time that I vivid this particular establishment, and I must say that the food was The lowest of quality, tasteless and inedible. The only thing that was enjoyable was the beverage sweet tea. And I believe that’s very sad. It was a waste of my 29.90. and I will never go back to this restaurant or recommended for any additional business.

The food here is okay..it’s not always completely hot when it comes to the buffet. We have been here twice and disappointed both times. Their to go food is great and way better than the buffet. They are pretty cheap but only way we will eat here is through the to go menu.

Well I am re-updating my review. COVID has done wonders for improvement of food quality. They got rid of the sushi bar unfortunately but still put some out. They also got rid of the hibachi. I guess I can only say I can complain about the jump in prices while at the same time removing so much from the options. 4 stars if it goes back to the options 5 if prices return to normal

I have been here often and usually just get the buffet to go. Yesterday I decided to order additional takeout as well. I was told just a few minutes. Well it was 35mins later, my buffet takeout had actually gotten cold during this wait.
Then my favorite dish of Moo Goo Gai Pan was just PATHETIC. It was literally 50% mushrooms. No pea pods at all, a few shreds of cabbage, two pieces of carrots and a few water chestnuts. This was basically mushrooms w/ some chicken .
To top it off, egg rolls weren’t included in either of my dinners. I didn’t get any sauces at all. Not even a fortune cookie either. Complete was of $

Hate to leave a bad review as its the only buffet in this area. I’ve tried and tried this place but the food is always sub par to me. Barely warm very little flavor. As far as buffets go this is a last resort.

There is nothing happy about this place. The food was dried out and cold on the lunch buffet. We happened to be dining when the time switched over to the dinner buffet time (we were assured that we would be charged the lunch price upon arrival). Now that it was the start of the dinner buffet, there was finally some fresh food being put out. Awesome, right? Nope! Apparently if you imbibe in the warm fresh food, you are automatically charged the dinner price. When we asked what was going on, we were told that we took ONE scoop of a dinner item. How were we supposed to know??? Never been here before. She drags us back and shows us a tiny piece of cardboard with “dinner item only” scrawled on it and masking taped to the glass where no one would be able to see it unless they were over 6 feet tall. There was also a long piece of hair lying across the cake, so dessert was also not an option. You could not pay us to return….and I strongly advise caution when considering dining in this sorry excuse for a Chinese buffet!

The food was amazing but the service was bad because the works didn’t pay attention to what my coworkers Were ordering because some of my coworkers when over there spending limit and the server was rude so next time I won’t bring up happy buffet next time
