Excellent pizza and atmosphere, would definitely recommend. The root beer from Durango was good as well. They were setting up for live music tonight, it’s a shame we had to leave. Don’t skip this place!

My husband and I were staying in a nearby Airbnb for 5 days of hunting. We decided to take a break from my food we brought, we were crazing Pizza. Not sure what to expect since we’re kind of picky about our pizza… it was INCREDIBLE! The sauce, the crust, the fresh ingredients were amazing. The first night we took it back to our place. Well, two days later we needed it again, we ordered to go again, but had a margarita while we waited in the bar side. Awesome margarita! And the conversation with everyone there was so fun and inviting! The decor makes for some fun conversations. This is not a “dive bar” this is a great little stop for awesome food and drinks with a side of friendly!

The best pizza we’ve had in a very long time! They make their own dough and it is buttery and the perfect chewiness. Excellent crust. And, so important to me, not burnt!!! And even though they have amazing toppings, and make their own sauce, the crust is so good it doesn’t matter! Add to that a great bar and service and you got 5 stars all the way. Definitely stop here when in the area!

We live about 30 min over the boarder in utah. Never knew this place was here. Super fun and SO relaxing for a very small middle of no where town. Great food, nice service and beautiful sunset right on main street

We were on our way from Moab to Gateway when we saw the cool sign for The Flying Bear, encouraging us and our empty stomachs to follow the 2 mile detour. We should have saved our money. The guy who took our order was very obviously overwhelmed, but very responsive and helpful. The pizza was the most flavorless thing I have ever eaten. The crust was limp. Maybe my hopes were too high? We won’t be back.

Gem! There’s so much history here in Naturita and this is the best spot to enjoy it. Beers, Bikes, Pizza or in our case Buffalo Wings, Meatball Croc, Beers and Cocktails, delicious. Best Buffalo Wings in 100 miles napkins down. Music choice was on point and surprising, staff and local patrons are refreshing. Thanx for a great afternoon!

I recently passed through the charming town of Naturita and stumbled upon Flying Bear Pizzaria. I decided to try the Harvest Salad and the Mauna Loa Pizza, both of which were recommended by Johnny. I’m so glad I took his advice! The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pizza was simply outstanding. If you find yourself in Naturita, I highly recommend stopping by Flying Bear Pizzaria. Wow. Previous reviewers were not exaggerating when they say this is the best pizza they’ve had in a long time. Their pizza is on the order of a specialty pizza restaurant in a big city. I’m a pizza snob… we make our own at home, from scratch (including the dough and sauce), in a specialty pizza oven. We had the Mauna Lau and it was delicious… perfectly thin crust with the right amount of crunch and chewy, super flavorful (just the right amount of salt in the dough so it’s not bland!) and enjoyed the balance of spicy (jalapeño) with a touch of sweet (pineapple).
The pizza with a side salad was the perfect amount for my husband and I. Looking forward to our next dinner here!

I just didn’t like when I wanted to see my tab….only got a total….I like to see breakdown….Emerson was awesome….but then had to leave….pizza triple P was sooooo good! I might tell you the happy hour was excellent but I can’t tell what the happy hour was since they didn’t give me a tab.
