The Wine Bar at WaterColor is our go-to for a relaxed afternoon. Their Happy Hour is easily one of the best deals in the area—if you buy a large pour of wine before 6 PM, they bring you the carafe! It’s the perfect way to unwind without breaking the bank.
The food is consistently great:
* Cheese Boards & Charcuterie: You can’t come here without getting a board. The selection is premium, and the presentation is always beautiful.
* The Pizzas & Hummus: The pizzas are thin and crispy, and the hummus is the perfect light starter.
What really makes this location special is the team. Zack and Christian behind the bar in the restaurant are top-tier—fast, friendly, and they know their wine. Also, if you’re stopping by the retail wine and cheese store to build your own board for home, look for Paige. She is incredibly helpful and makes picking out the perfect pairing a breeze.
Pro-Tip for Foodies: While the food here is “good”, if you are looking for the absolute best (excellent) fresh grouper dishes, steak, tuna, even the roasted cauliflower, I still think The Wine Bar in Destin has the best chef across all three locations. The Wine Bar – Grand Blvd is a close second to Destin for amazing dishes.

I give the wine and service 5 stars, but our appetizer (roasted brussel sprouts) was tasteless and not roasted. They were possibly sautéed, but tasted boiled. I asked if this is how they are always made and our server said yes. In reading the other reviews I should have ordered a charcuterie board!

Excellent staff! And amazing food. We had a large party and they were easily ready to accommodate us, providing intentional and undivided attention to our special dietary requests and having full knowledge of both the food and drink menus. This place exceeded expectations once again. Steven was great to us today! We had the usual Carters Lot Cab carafes with a margarita pizza (we asked for it to be this crispy), was delicious! On the way back home we stopped by the wine and cheese store. 2 bottles of our favorite wine, Carters Lot, and two cheeses to complete our day. Great prices. I recommend checking them out!
