I did not eat at this location but I did look at the menu. And most importantly, it makes participating in whatever event is happening on the beach so much more convenient. They have food and drinks. There are tables–but get there early enough to snatch one. The prices were fair. Parking about 7 minutes away.

Perfect summer spot on the lake—great vibes, live DJ, and cold drinks. Spent around $30 on a catfish po’ boy, fries, and a rum punch. Food came out quick and was way better than I expected from a walk-up spot. That catfish was crispy and seasoned right. Deck was packed but the energy was A1. Great place to post up, grab some grub, and kick it with the city skyline in the background. Total hidden gem if you know, you know.

My friend and I stopped here on our Chicago visit last week after local referrals and an IG dive, and it did not disappoint. Summer Monday afro beats was such a good time. The view is stunning, the food is great, and the people (staff and Pier 31 regulars) were great to be around. Tip: Get there early to grab a table and food (4pm) then stay for the drinks and vibes! Adults only as the sun goes down. We had burgers but those wings looked amazing!

I visited Pier 31 during Black Scene Weekend, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our day after the boat ride. The vibe was fantastic, I saw so many familiar faces from both my hometown and where I live now, and I met a bunch of new friends too. The live band and singer were incredible, and the atmosphere was just so lively and fun. I can’t wait to come back next year!

Pier 31 Restaurant is such a lovely spot with amazing lakefront views! I tried the grilled salmon and it was perfectly cooked—flaky, tender, and full of flavor. The side of roasted vegetables complemented the dish really well, and their signature cocktail was refreshing and expertly made. The atmosphere is upscale yet relaxed, making it perfect for a special night out. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to an overall fantastic dining experience!

Big prices for mediocre food and service from behind a glass. I got the wings and they were good. Not great or different just wings. Thank location is really the only thing great about this place. If it was somewhere besides the beach it would flop.
