I really like this place. It’s like a Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. I built a chicken shawarma bowl and everything was super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

Wonderful quick stop for some delicious Mediterranean food! We were passing through and the fresh produce options. Service fast and the flavor was good! There was outdoor and indoor seating available and nice bathrooms too. What a cool little area!

Mediterranean is one of my favorite types of food. I’ve been to this place once and got a gyro. This time I decided to get a bowl. I was a fan of all the different options I could add to the bowl, but they didn’t have a lamb protein which was kind of a bummer. I ordered a drink and a pita bread with the bowl. In total I spent $20 which is kind of pricey to me for just a quick lunch meal. Especially since the portion wasn’t even all that much and the pita bread tasted like a very thin hard tortilla. If I had the option between this Mediterranean restaurant and another I would go for the other restaurant.

Great great food! Staff was very friendly and the owner was great to chat with (I think it’s the owner). The baklava was AMAZING!! I’ve had many and this was not too sweet which I usually find with baklava. Bed shwarma was juicy and flavor filled. Will come back again!

The best way to describe this place is the way it was introduced to me when I first entered. It’s like Chipotle, only with these food choices…
He was sooooo right and I made my choices and could not be more satisfied. The food was delicious and very flavorful. And my eyes were bigger then my stomach because towards the end I was stuffed. And the Turkish pita was delicious as well and balanced out the meal. I’d tell ya what I got but it doesn’t matter, it was DELICIOUS.
Also, you order inside and take your order outside and find a place to eat in the open courtyard area.

I truly love places like this, but I tend to get confused when I look at the menu and see all of the options for bases, etc. Thankfully, the staff here is very helpful in making recommendations on what to pair together. The food was truly amazing and it’s one of the best Mediterranean style meals I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Huntsville! I had chicken schwarma with garlic sauce and falafel with spicy tahini, turnips, kalamatas, cucumbers, tabbouli, basmati and chickpeas- I highly recommend these together!

Absolutely loved this place! The food is so fresh and the servers are so nice! I have an allergy to nuts and they were very helpful!!
I got a bowl with chicken and tons of veggies, so worth the money! Live music the night we went at Stovehouse made it even better! Highly recommend for a light and healthy dinner!

I was hopeful about this one. It had good reviews and I loved the concept of build your own bowl. Maybe we got an off day. First, I love hummus and trying hummus from different places. This one was a miss. The hummus was watery and lumpy. ??? The bowls were mostly rice and there was a strong, vinegary, undertone to the shawarma bowl. The spicy chickpeas were not spicy at all. They were actually barely seasoned. Oh, and the naan was extremely tough. On the flip side, the beef had a good flavor as well as the Kabab. Overall, I didn’t feel we got our moneys worth. I’d be willing to try again since the reviews were so good, but for this visit I’m not impressed.

I strongly encourage you to check this place out the next time you’re at Stovehouse. It’s like Subway, but with much more diverse toppings. You can go with either a wrap or a bowl, and you start off with hummus and then start piling everything on top of it. They leave it up to you as to whether you want it to be vegetarian or not, and if not, you can choose between chicken, pork and beef. And they have so many wonderfully pickled vegetables to throw on top of it. Once you pick it all out and they make it, they push it in some kind of panini press type of thing and wrap it in wax paper. It’s easy to eat, it’s not messy and it tastes delicious! What more could you want? Also, the staff was really super friendly and helpful. I told them that I’d never been there before and they really made sure that I got what I wanted. It was so delicious that it inspired some of the people that I went to lunch with to go there instead of what they were going to do before they saw my food! So give it a shot, I think you’ll be glad that you did.
