This restaurant doesn’t like disabled people they stare at u a lot .food nice but when u ask for the bill the server asks u for a 5pound tip.which I feel disgusting. And if u say no they keep on and on.wouldnt go there again .

The hotel’s ambience is dingy with cheap lights. The food is not good at all and definitely not worth the price they are charging. Portion size is also small. Wait staff is very rude and unhelpful. When we asked for food suggestions they came up with answers like ‘How can I say? As small portion for me might be big portion for you’, and they made us help them lay the table cloth and change it when we were about to leave. They also charged us for condiments like ketchup. Will never visit again.

Food quality excellent! It has been re-decorated since my last visit which has removed a bit of the classic Indian dining experience but the environment is still great. Unfortunately I only am in the area once a year, but always make an effort to visit.

Reasonable prices – yes, decent service – yes, good Indian food – not so much. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a neighborhood Indian joint so nothing special is expected but lamb was so hard to chew it spoiled good slightly spicy sauce and Bhanji was dry to start with.
So very sorry but three is the max I can do.

First time at this resto and I would say it ticked all the boxes. Very friendly customer service, variety of the menu, reasonable price, qualify fresh food. All drinks as you would wish. Easy access from Stratford station.

I fancied an authentic seekh kebab, salad and lamb samosa etc. So I visited this restaurant in person made an order to take away. Waited a while but all the purchases was fresh and piping hot. I enjoyed this at home. Fries in photo was from another store, but everything on plate along with the garlic nan was from the Himalaya restaurant.

Fancy and stylish Indian restaurant; mostly Bengali cuisine alongside some Northie and Punjabi options, mostly meat dishes (chicken, lamb and seafood) but some vegetarian options too (e.g. paneer) and main portions are large, good for sharing. Lassi is available and there is a bar for alcoholic drinks too. Above everything the staff are friendly and the service is great!

Interiors are good. Staff is good. Food is not much Indian style, very bland and basic food and not much vegetarian options available. Non vegetarian dishes being served around did not look promising either. If you are craving for Indian food better look for some authentic Indian cuisine nearby.
