We stopped by today around 3pm and got 2 donuts & a piece of cheesecake. The cookies looked hard so we tried the donuts but they were VERY DRY & not worth $2 each. They are out in the open (no glass covering so they dry out). If they were old they should be reduced in price or tossed out. The blueberry lemon cheesecake was $7 for a small piece that was bland. It tastes like a commercial store bought one although I’ve gotten better at Kroger. I can’t say I’d come back after all 3 items being horrible.

Best French toast I’ve had in a long while! Coarse ground grits were cooked to perfection, which is not particularly easy… if you know, you know. Chicken sausage and soft scrambled eggs were great. The chicken fried steak was magnificent and freshly squeezed orange juice was great.
Relaxing environment with attentive service. Can’t wait to come again!

I had the country benedict for breakfast on Saturday and it was awesome!!! Crispy and tender country fried steak, delicious fluffy biscuit, and great gravy!!!
Don’t forget to stop by their market shop where they sell some amazing baked goods. Walked away with a chocolate crème pie today!!!!

We ate lunch at Rise & Slice for their soft opening today, and it was delicious! I had the sweet teas and pimento cheese and broccoli soup combo. The bakery was loaded down with ed, white and blue donuts, baked goods, sandwiches, snacks, and so much more. The staff is very friendly and attentive! This is a great place to also grab a sandwich and chips quickly to go.

When I hear “Tea Room,” I imagine a cozy, charming spot with soft light and a menu full of hot teas, iced teas, and specialty blends. You know—something comforting and inviting. Instead, this “Tea Room” thinks tea means… plain iced tea. That’s it. No pots, no blends, no lattes. Just the most uninspired option possible.
And the bakery? Same story. They serve basic drip coffee. No cappuccino, no espresso. Because apparently a “bakery” doesn’t need real coffee either.
The menu is just as exciting. The first item I see: “Build Your Own Breakfast.” Why exactly am I paying restaurant prices to assemble my own meal when I can do that at home for free?
I tried the so-called grilled sandwich. Except it wasn’t grilled. It was two slices of dry bread pretending to be Italian, slapped on a plate with some turkey and limited pieces of bacon, with two lonely, shriveled pickles that looked like they were thrown in as an afterthought. The presentation could only be described as “sad school lunch.”
The only thing impressive here is the interior. It’s new, clean, and somewhat modern.
You walk in expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, the food and drinks crash that illusion pretty quickly.

This place is so cute! They have a fun assortment of snacks, pastries, sweets etc to grab n go. We tried the hot honey cheesecake and a few other pasties. All were delicious and fresh! It was not over priced either, which is refreshing. I hope they stay busy! We will be going back to try breakfast and lunch soon.

Came for the soft opening and it was a decent experience. I was excited to come back today since they had some time to open and operate. I planned on going to Waffle House but thought this would be a much better experience. We waited 30+ mins for our food. When we go the food my sausage was completely raw on the inside and the other food was mediocre. Regretting my decision to spend not only the extra time but also extra money here.

This is a great place to eat! We were sat quickly and the staff was extremely nice. We ordered Philly cheesesteak and the black and blue with balsamic glaze and Italian sandwich and the fries and everything was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommend and definitely come here again.
