Mountains Are Best
Busy time lunch but service was very good. Four of us and all our dishes came out separately by ticket number requiring 4 or 5 trips to pick up counter. Pasta dishes were good, eggplant was tasty and a small Stromboli was not small but 1/2 a pizza box. Very good though. Space was clean and kitchen and serving areas were plain but nice. Salads were fresh, dressing good too.

Fantastic spot with plenty of seating, friendly service, and good food. Stop on in and try the steak special sub from the grill. Never thought I’d like any sub besides meatball with marinara sauce, this one blends flavors well into a satisfying dinner.

I grew up in Tazewell & Italian Village was the place to go on the weekend with friends. I came into town & I wanted to go somewhere that was not crowded bc of covid precautions. My dad suggested the location for Italian Village. I was rather surprised at the store front. It was fun & inviting. When I entered I noticed the floors were extremely clean & it was spacious and very well lit. The atmosphere was spot on. I appreciated the large board with the food choices with prices. I also noticed behind the counter how immaculately clean it was. Hand scooped ice-cream is available, which was very tempting. We ordered our food, they give you a number then call out your number for each item that is ready. Not quite use to this but it was nice to get hot fresh food. My dad & I were able to sit in a section with no other patrons which made me feel comfortable. Salad was large & good amount of toppings. I got the chicken parmesan with spaghetti & garlic bread. I really didn’t like the sauce & wasn’t crazy about the garlic bread. I brought thus to the attention of the cook. She happily without reluctancy fixed the issue. She was apologetic & so kind with such a lovely smile. I got the calzone which was amazingly good. We were graciously presented with mini cheesecake which was quite delicious. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the restroom. Everything was hands free & well stocked.
I had a memorable time with my dad. I would definitely go back the next time I’m in my hometown.

If ever in Richlands be sure to try this place out. The staff is amazing, always greets you with a smile and will explain any meal to you without being aggravated. The food is always great and the atmosphere is as well. My husband says they got the best banana splits.

You can tell that a non-Italian runs this place just by a photo of this farcical calzone. Seriously? Was it even baked? Learn how to apply a layer of oil or an egg wash atop the dough in order to create a bronzed effect. This is pitiful. Do better; be better.
