I used to think this place was great. I always order the tofu teriyaki, no rice, extra salad. The tofu is prepared well, the salad dressing is delicious. Today, the tofu was overcooked and very dry, the usual container of salad dressing that’s been included literally every other time, probably 20 or more that I’ve ordered it, was missing. I called, spoke with the owner, and he took no accountability whatsoever. He kept talking over me, really wouldn’t let me say much of anything, and just kept saying this is how we cook it for everyone. I tried to say that if this is the way you prepared it the first time I had it, I never would’ve ordered from you again. Clearly the customer is not valued. Don’t waste your money. It’s not worth the risk!

this is easily my favorite bellingham restaurant and has been for a good couple years. the red dragon roll is my favorite roll and i recommend this place to everyone and anyone. i’m probably tokyo house’s #1 fan.
atmosphere is wonderful. my favorite part is the ai background videos on the tvs. the staff is always the best, one time they started screaming at each other in front of me over my pickup order and it was so entertaining. love this place and love these guys! couldn’t recommend enough.

I’ve been ordering here for over a year, and the food has never failed to disappoint. A lot of people say to skip the sushi, but it is one of my favorites. Their beef fried rice is my absolute go-to, along with their chicken katsu. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, and ive never had a bad experience whether ordering online or dining in. It can get a little pricey if you’re really hungry, but it’s well worth it in my opinion

Generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices.
My partner said her spicy tuna roll was the best she’s ever had. No avocado and the cucumber gave it a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend this place!

The building needs some work and both outside and inside, but the food is delicious! The veggie egg rolls and gyoza are both very tasty appetizers. The yakasobi and chicken katsu is great. This is a nice place for lunch. They have special tables for the Korean BBQ.

This is the only place in Bellingham that you can get Korean BBQ. I wish I could give a half addition star because I feel like it is close to a 4 star but just missing some things to get there. We come here when we want to get either or Kimbap and Bibimbap fix or have some K-BBQ. The Kimbap and Bibimbap is very good. The K-BBQ is just OK. It would be nice if they had a few more options for the meat items. It’s pretty limited in comparison to some of the K-BBQ places further south. We really wish they had the Korean style steamed eggs (Gyeranjjim) as we love that dish. They also have very good Kimchi, not too spicy and great flavor. If you have not tried it, you should. The inside is a little small, and if you are seated near the door, it can get pretty chilly. There are only a few people usually working, and the service can get slow because of this. When you are ready to pay, just head up to the counter. They usually tell you this anyway.

Do NOT eat the sushi here. I can’t speak to the dishes but. The sushi is very underwhelming. Flavors unlike I’ve ever had before. Hoping it’s safe. Didn’t taste rotten, just not like it should. Always leery of a sushi place with no sushi bar. Can’t see what they are doing.

I was a little apprehensive at first, as there seemed to be a few overdue repairs, such as the warped floor or broken ceiling. But the service made up for it. Our server was so kind and friendly, and the cook made sure we understood how the BBQ worked and how to be sure our food was cooked through. I ordered the smallest option for the BBQ, and it came with a few different sides, and the most delicious house made kimchi. The spicy pork was delicious, and the beef was marinated and tender. The chicken was also marinated in a sesame sauce that was delicious. I also ordered a side of beef Kimbap, and it was amazing. I was planning my next time dining here before I even left. Large menu with lots to try. If you are comfortable cooking your BBQ, I highly recommend.
